Recommendations Taco recs

Hii I’m fairly new to lbk (tech student) and recently discovered titos tacos which are unfortunately closing after today 😔😔. Is there any taco trucks or even restaurants similar to this place? Idm driving too far either way I just want a solid taco place 😭😭.

I’m so glad you already mentioned them. Everything I’ve ever gotten there is so good and Michael is so nice. For both those reason I tell everyone I know to go there!

Check out Tacos El Paisa - taco truck, very excellent tacos for sure

El Sazón Regio is another one that does street tacos outside at times (but sit down restaurant as well)

Taqueria Autlán started back up in doing street tacos outside but they keep that solely on Saturdays

The Birria Lbk food truck does excellent birria tacos

I haven’t had theirs, I typically get their tacos or grilled cheese (secret menu)

Any restaurant that automatically assumes you speak Spanish are the best ones. If they have a weird English and Spanish name, they're mid. Anything with "Taqueira" in the name is amazing. Best street tacos I found were at the flea market. That was like 10 years ago tho lol

It’s a bit far from campus, but Asada, on Slide between 98th and 114th, is fantastic.

There's a second one in canyon west now also.

Nice! We’ve been gone about a year, it must’ve opened after we left.

Jimenez, either of the Taco Y Paisa trucks (not to be confused with similarly named one that took over a stripes on 96th/98th), Polibertos and Taqueria Guadalajara are my go tos.

velvet taco is the best

not street tacos, velvet may be good but it’s gentrified no where near what they’re asking for

but it’s even cheaper than street tacos.
