ACADEMICS Note taking accommodation suggestions?

Hi, I was given permission by ACCESS to record my classes but they just told me to find any app that records audio and turns it into notes for me. Any suggestions?

Thank you, is this something they often offer at MDC?

Yes I did my access meeting in Kendall yesterday and they registered me for an otter ai license and said they had a lot of people using it

I went earlier this week to Kendall as well and the lady basically told me to just find an app online to use but couldn't give me any suggestions. Thanks, I'll go ahead and ask next time

They are supposed to give you a digital recorder, Kendall campus gave me one. I use Notability on ipad (not sure if its on iphone) but i pay for it so i can transcribe audio and video, its like 19.99 a year i think. It also turns your notes into quizzes but i have not tried that yet. I didnt like the digital recorder and they never told me i could use an app!

I don’t take accommodations although I could have but I declined, but I also just recommended notability. The quiz thing is genius. Helped so much studying difficult concepts

Notability!! I use my laptop to record in class but it syncs across devices so you can read the notes from anywhere
