Old SSD
Hey everyone, couple of month ago my laptop got a short circuit (MSI thin GF63) now i got a cyborg 15 and wanted to put the ssd from the old one but it cant run windows from the old ssd. Is it possible that the ssd also got fried? Such a shame to lose all the info on it. Thanks.

Yes, it could be fried. The boot image could also simply be incompatible with the new laptop for a number of reasons (TPM, drivers don't match hardware, old partition table not supported by new BIOS settings, etc.) Many new laptops have more than one SSD socket. Even if yours doesn't, there are inexpensive adapters that allow an SSD to be plugged into USB as a secondary drive. You might try booting from the new SSD and see if the old SSD can be accessed as D:

if the old ssd isn't recognised it is either the m.2 slot or the ssd is dead
