MSX Pixelart
I sat down today to do some pixelart.
What do you guys think...?

Looks great! Did you do this on OG hardware or emulator? What software did you use?

The picture is from an emulator, but it can just as easily be copied to OG hardware.
As for the tools: homebrew EXCEL...1

You should make it open source and put it on Github! Would be interesting to explore! Do you export from Excel to machine code somehow? I'm a noob when it comes to coding, just know some basic C and Bash, but it sounds really cool if this is what you can produce with it!

It produces three interlinked BASIC programs (one of them is about all an MSX1 can load in one go, hence the three parts). When you run them, the MSX creates a "bmp" that you can load into the MSX VRAM in one (fairly quick) go...!
As far as open-sourcing it; the tool is still very "manual", and probably less than user-friendly...

Very cool! Also quite amazing with just the 4 colors.
