Overnight Guests
I (F) live in an exterior-entrance dorm (not saying which one bc hello safety), and have a private dorm. Last year my boyfriend was able to stay over constantly and I never had any issues, granted I never did check him in. This year they seem to be stricter on the guest rules. Since I have a private dorm with no roommates and an exterior entrance (he also always uses the sex-appropriate bathroom, never the residential ones), do you guys think they would approve him as an overnight guest? Or am I just shit outta luck

I lived in Monahan. It depends to an extent, but personally I didn't care as long as they weren't in the communal bathrooms and that seemed to be the general attitude.

They would not let him sleep over due to him being the opposite sex. This is coming from a former RA, it’s just not allowed due to him being the opposite sex tbh. Depending on your dorm it would just be easier to sneak him in if your up for it and just have him use to guest bathroom

When I was is cummings I would sneak my bf through the side entrance up the ramp and just prop open the door at the top and we would walk up the stairs, or I would have him walk up with a group of my guy friends on a different floor. This was 4 years ago and I’m not sure what dorm ur in but corlew or Cummings u can sneak them in but they wouldn’t allow overnight stays if I went about it the official route

When i was in Judd my roommate used to bring her friend over who was male and he slept over a few times and nothing happened but honestly I cannot promise anything. Depends on RA tbh

Depends on the dorm... if its scarlet you can get away with more. Any building in area 5 (gracy, smith, etc.), I wouldnt risk it. They fr stay watching people and will go knock on your door. As for other dorms I'm not sure what all you can get away with.
