Story Time First MUN ever! Basically got addicted.
Went to Chatswood Cherrybrook MUN. Was my first ever MUN! I was in a double delegation with my friend. He's the one in the third image.
We got put into the ICJ (intermediate) of all the committees. We were also South Sudan and in a room full of sweats. There were NO tutorials. NO feedback. And NO inexperienced delegates.
My friend was an experienced delegate, so at least I wasn't completely lost. And by the time we got into the unseen resolution, I got a feel for it. He helped me a lot. Credit to him!
Yes, I got caught in 4k playing Clash. In my defense, it was BEFORE General Assembly started.
Didn't win any awards :(
State MP actually came as a special guest.
It was so fun! $10 well spent. I would definitely do it again, maybe even do the Security Council eventually?

UNSC is the most exciting and eventful committee for me, it’s so fun, tackling the veto issues, working on resos, convincing people not to bomb each other.

I haven't been in UNSC yet, so I wouldn't know how to deal with the P5 and passing resolutions, but it's something I'm aiming to do as I do more MUNs.
Oh, and my other friends in UNHRC got their country bombed as part of an amendment for the resolution lol.
Edit: In my committee (ICJ), someone got an ammendment passed to have the delegation of Somolia dance every time they stand up to speak.
