I wonder if there are any houses in Nosy Be with actual fiber connected all the way to the house.

I see Telma and Orange has "fiber" offers, but I believe it's actually a 4G connection they're selling.

I'm asking cause I'll be looking for a house to rent long term and I wonder it's worth the extra effort to look for a house with fiber

If anyone has any advice on which areas of Nosy Be tend to have a good Internet connections, it would be very welcome

Hello everyone!
Planning an anniversary trip to Madagascar for 2 weeks tentatively from mid November. The rough itinerary is land in Tana and spend 2 days there. From Tana, drive to Andasibe for baobabs and national park for 2 days.Come back to Tana and catch a flight for Mornondova(in consideration) and end the trip with Nosy Be for 5 days!

Any suggestions regarding itinerary changes, accommodation suggestions, activities,tour operator (tried and tested only),guide recommendations, and food suggestions are highly appreciated!

An observation about the “Karana” (Indo-Pakistani) and Chinese people who own businesses here in Madagascar.

We stopped by “ATOM,” which is a Chinese-owned store, and you have all the “Chinese” staff working alongside the employees to keep the shop running. For example, the owners themselves will collect customers’ shopping carts, while other Chinese employees work as cashiers alongside the local staff. You see this kind of situation very often in Chinese-owned businesses—not all of them, of course, but in the majority of cases, it seems to be more or less the same.

And... then you have the “Karana,” whom we could simply refer to as the “new colonizers”: they are constantly on their employees’ backs, pointing out mistakes and telling them off, but rarely taking the initiative themselves.

On top of that, I work in a "Karana" neighborhood of the city, and over there, they don’t even try to hide their racism toward Malagasy people.

But why is there such a huge cultural difference between the two groups when they both coexist in the same country who is Madagascar?

J’hésite à diviser le séjour avec l’île Sainte Marie (île aux Nattes) et Tulear (Anakao, Salary Bay).
