So I sent him an article about how kissing as an act of affection likely developed from early humans chewing and spitting food into their children's mouths. Suddenly he isn't all about shaping our lives around evolutionary pressures! Principles require follow through, Dad!

Omg, enjoy all of that. My twin nephews just turned 24. Watching twins grow up is the best. I enjoyed all the time I spent with them when they were that age. One time I remember them sitting in a tree stand together, belly laughing about something, and my SIL leaned over and said, "Sometimes I'm a little jealous I wasn't born with my best friend." Legit lol they are the best of friends and it has been so fun to see them grow up into the good men they are now.
That said, they were the last two nails in the coffin of my ever wanting my own kids. I love them. I would still, to this day, take a bullet for either of them. But they were what cemented to me that I did not want to be a mother. I'm much better suited as a feral, hippie aunt 😂
