Sometimes you just decide to open up a Guinea Pig Parkour Wine Bar and you have to get started somewhere. Even though all your close friends and family advised you it wasn't likely to be successful, you're still gonna try.
So stop on by Michelle's Guinea Pig Parkour and Wine Bar down on 26th and 7th Ave for an entertaining evening. (Yes it's just some guys garage and of course we have "all the required permits").

Same. I worked at a wine and cigar lounge for a summer and got invited to a reps house. This is exactly, minus the Guinea pigs unfortunately, her house looked. lol.

I always love seeing little pets running around without a cage and being polite and not distructive menaces.
A girl i shared an apartment in college with had a corn snake she'd just let free roam all the time. I was a little bit freaked out in the beginning but that danger noodle was so polite and well behaved I loved having it around. It really liked watching anime for some reason, i think the lights or the bright colours caught it's attention.

My partner's pet rabbit does the same. She doesn't have good traction on the hardwood floor, so as a prey animal that needs to dart for cover at a moment's notice, she instinctually keeps to the carpets & rugs and will hop over any patch of bare flooring. We don't need a pen for her; any space we don't want her getting into we just leave bare.

I've got to ask what was wrong with how I was handling my guinea pigs. The only social interaction we had was them asking for food when they heard me come home or cut something, but I couldn't pet them, or even see them as they were hiding for the most time. Is it me ? Them ?

I would imagine that you have to handle them a lot when they're young, but also might be able to force them to adapt by handling them when they're older.
Like feral cats... If you get to the kittens young enough they're easier to "domesticate". Leave it until they're several months old and it will be more difficult. An adult cat that's been feral for years might never become truly domesticated.

I don’t know about guinea pigs but I have rabbits and they don’t have pads on their feet (toe beans) just fur so they don’t get any grip really on hard floors like wood and tile. So we have rugs all over the place and they tend to stick to those.
