I love this so much. They look so damn happy. They both seem wonderful.
Not sure what condition your mom has/had but my dad died from ALS a year before I got engaged. I would have loved to have shared something fun and special like my wedding with him when he was paralyzed. This is a beautiful memory

Oh. OP, I’m so sorry. What a special day to have shared with her. I know exactly what you’ve been through unfortunately. Sending you love. She knew you were in good hands.

That is absolutely soul crushing, what a terrible disease. I find solace in knowing she was truly loved until the very end and what can we truly else ask from life but for a genuine soulmate? This is a sobering moment and I should tell my wife more often how much I love her and how thankful I am.

Ugh, I am so sorry for your loss but how wonderful is it to have this beautiful moment memorialized.

I’m so happy that she got to be there for your big day (I assume one of the newlyweds is you, but even if not) - what a beautiful beautiful moment. She got to be there for this, she’s clearly elated, and I’m weakly holding it together as I write this. We’re so damn lucky to have love, sending some your way

I'm so sorry, I just left you an award that was meant to be a broken heart, and now it seems I can't undo it.

We will all go. But to leave surrounded with such love is a blessing for anyone. Every love story has an end but that doesn't make it any less beautiful. ♥

What a bittersweet image, although ultimately an immortalized moment of what true unconditional love looks like.

Absolutely, there’s something so charming about seeing strength and sensitivity mixed together. It reminds me of my parents too; they always balance each other out perfectly.

This is exactly what they mean by in sickness and in health. Being there for each other through it all.

He knows she would be there if the tables were turned. Yep. This was the pact and it lasted until the end of time.

That's the very definition of true love and devotion right there. Look at the pure joy on her face.

Oh OP, you are so lucky for them to be your family.
I just sat here crying for a few minutes because my parents never even really liked each other, they never would have done anything like this even if they'd stayed together. I just hope you really understand what a blessing this is. I am so happy for you.

Omg the little head rub he gives her 🥰
It’s amazing she was able to be present and truly looked so happy at your wedding. What a lovely memory. I’m sure it meant absolutely everything to be there, to see you get married ….. her baby making it in life. ❤️
OP, I’m so very sorry for your loss 🫂 my Mom died very suddenly and without a chance to say goodbye …. My Dad and I often say how the choices we are given are awful. Either a long, awful illness but you get to speak your peace and comfort them all the way thru, have the loving goodbyes with ‘no regrets’
Or, in our case….. suddenly out of nowhere, there’s no suffering, but, no goodbye either - just years of shock to try and convince yourself you should’ve maybe done something different and wishing you’d had the chance for one last hug and an I love you.
RIP to all the amazing Moms 🕊️ never forgotten.

This video is so sweet. My mum had MS and my partners mum had ALS. Both passed when they were far too young. I am glad your mum got to experience that joy with her partner. I wish I could dance with my mum.
