What a beautiful expression she had, pride and joy. Imagine being on the receiving end of that look. Just lovely.

She’s a real one cause he was getting cooked

Tbf, there are only like three people who don't get cooked by Alcaraz (every time)

Yeah maybe she was cheerful cause she already knew he would lose before the match even started. If it was an opponent he could actually beat there may been more sadness/frustration from her in the event of a loss.

Currently unranked taking games from Nr. 2 would be exciting for everyone

That isn't getting cooked against Alcatraz.

Reminds me of my Mum cheering me on at infant school sports day, even though I’d dropped my egg from the spoon within the first couple of yards 😄

Clearly, Love is winning

Naw man, love means you have zero points in tennis, clearly not a winning position /s

I know it's not her but she looks dangerously close to Emilia Clarke. And if I think that, then those dragons think that. And if those dragons think that, then Alcaraz better proceed carefully.

Looks more like Lea Michele

The guy was almost done with tennis (bad hip injury) and closing in on age 30. Career journeyman who's grinded away - actually has a win over Carlos a couple years ago but mostly an ITF stalwart with some solid results on the main tour.

I think this is pretty cool. Not looking great down a set and a break but just served it out to get within 5-4 and needing a break back. Likely not gonna happen with Alcaraz playing well but she's trying to pump up her hubby and believe. Big picture stuff - competing under the lights at Arthur Ashe against a generational great ... not a bad place to be.
