makeup seperation help

helloo

my makeup always goes from perfect to seperating within 2-4 hours of wearing it.

I use

- tone up foundation

- florasis sunscreen/ florasis primer sunscreen purple

-Florasis loose powder

- Loreal fixing spray

-Fixx setting spray

i was told to use moisturizer because the skin is dry, it still seperates either i let it sit for 5 mimutes or not...

My skin is combi, and yeah i live in a humid country where its summer all year long

Yes you do need moisturiser, and not just before you put your makeup on but at night too, it’s all in the prep :)

It's always dry skin and a lack of exfoliation. That's what's happening here. You have a lot of dead dry skin that needs to be removed so you won't have that texture when you wear foundation. You need better skincare, not better makeup. What is your skincare routine now?

People are suggesting exfoliation which could be what you need but actually over-exfoliation can do this too (speaking from experience) also moisturize a lot…like a lot

You need some skin hydration! Try a multi step process at night with a milky toner (rice or pdrn is great), a serum thats made for hydration with hyaluronic acid, and always put a lotion over hyaluronic acid or it will pull moisture away from skin instead of into it. Something barrier reaffirming like a ceramide cream will make your skin glow (might make you break out a little til your skin gets used to it). Also you can use a pdrn spray or other face spray to wet your brush and spread your makeup a little thinner but more consistent and cleaner.
