Hi everyone, I could really use some community wisdom and grounding right now.
My partner of 13 years (first a deep friendship for many years, then moving into a relationship) and I just hit a massive, painful wall. When I went to visit him recently, he was showing me so much affection—giving me unprompted hugs and kisses, telling me he loved me all the time, and even crying at the airport when I had to leave, telling me he’d see me soon and talking about marriage and bringing me to live in the USA with him.
Literally a day or two later, I was completely blindsided by a text message saying he was ending things because his feelings had supposedly changed while I was there, and that he thought it was "easier" to tell me after I got back home. He claims he can't ignore his feelings now and that he "can't force his old feelings back," despite everything he showed and said right up until the exact moment I left. It has left me feeling shaken and scared.
I am autistic, which means processing this kind of intense emotional whiplash is uniquely excruciating. My autistic brain relies heavily on consistency and takes actions/words at face value, so the abrupt, jarring contradiction between his airport tears and a sudden text breakup has triggered a severe nervous system meltdown/shutdown, physical nausea, and intense sensory-emotional overload. My head is spinning from trying to compute it logically.
Despite all of this, I want to use Neville Goddard's teachings—revision, living in the wish fulfilled, and knowing that the 3D is just a shadow of past states—to completely turn this around and restore our relationship. I know our true connection is real, and I don’t want to believe it is gone, and I want to refuse to accept this text as the final chapter.
For those of you who have successfully applied Neville to sudden, severe 3D contradictions:
If you are also autistic, how do you manage the physical meltdowns, nausea, and the intense struggle of processing sudden, jarring transitions when applying the law? What helps you regulate?
How do you effectively do revision when the contrast between what was happening at the airport and what is happening right now feels so physically loud and jarring?
Has anyone dealt with someone claiming they "can't force their old feelings back" and successfully shifted that in the 4D?
Specifically: How did you personally do it? What exact steps, mindset shifts, or mental routines helped you get your success?
What advice, messages of hope, or concrete things/pitfalls should I actively avoid while in this state?
Any advice, perspective, or success stories would mean the world to me right now. Thank you for reading.
