I am from the UK and playing on the EU server seems nicer for ping. However it seems so dead and every time i come back to playing it seems more dead. Is it worth to continue playing on this server?

The Daily Gift, which is supposed to be the normal, non-event login reward is abysmally useless. In total, you get the following per MONTH:

• (2) Days of Hyper Teleport Rock - Approx. Value 10Mil
• (4) 2x Exp. Coupons - Worthless with the overabundance of exp coupons on or off event
• (2) Pendant of the Spirit (7 days each for 14 days total) - only worth anything if you grind all day
• (500) Spell Traces - Approx. Value 2.5Mil
• (2) Special Medal of Honor (10k Honor each for 20k Honor total) - equates to less than 3 inner ability rerolls at legendary rarity
• (3) Slot Expansion Coupon - Approx. Value 8Mil to 20Mil. Useful for the first couple of claims, becomes useless quickly
• (1500) Reward Points - Completely valueless considering that most early game characters can easily gain this amount of points in a day
• YOUR CHOICE BETWEEN
  • (1) Mega Burninator (Level 150) - Useful for building legion, worthless otherwise
  • (3) VIP Boosters - A small amount of exp, but at least it's something
• (1) Safety Charm - Completely Valueless.
• (1) Extreme Growth Potion - Useful for building legion, worthless otherwise
• (25) Mysterious Meso Pouch - Approx. Value 2.5Mil to 125Mil (Unlikely)
• (1) Trait Increase Potion - Useful until you have max traits
• (1) Glowing Cube - Approx. Value 12Mil. One cube roll is a drop in the bucket.
• (1) Karma Rebirth Flame - Approx. Value 15Mil
• (1) Epic Potential Scroll 100% - Approx. Value 300 Legion Coins. You can get 6 of these from legion by the time you get one from the daily gift.
• (1) Karma Black Rebirth Flame - Approx. Value 20Mil
• (3) Nodestones - Completely worthless, a drop in the bucket of the thousands of points you need to max your important V matrix skills.
• (1) Bright Cube - Approx. Value 22Mil. Again, one cube roll is a drop in the bucket.

In total, you receive at most 226 Million Mesos worth of resources, assuming you always hit the 3% chance to get 5Mil from a meso bag every single time. Realistically, you're receiving around 120 Million Mesos worth of resources.

This is a problem considering the game is at a point where you're expected to spend billions and trillions of mesos improving multiple characters. The resources they give you simply don't measure up to what the game is asking you to do.

Some of these rewards are fitting for early game players like the mega burninator and even the slot expansions, but the rest of the rewards range from annoying to receive to completely worthless. By my count, 20 out of the 28 daily check-ins need to have their rewards changed or adjusted to reflect the current state of the game.

Compare this to games with a similar type of login-style reward, and it's plain to see that Nexon has either forgotten about this system, or are intentionally keeping the rewards poor in light of their recent greedy streak. Obviously, it's a stretch to ask for premium currency in the check-in, but that's what other games do. However, the fact that your reward for diligently logging in and playing for 28 straight days amounts to a single cube as your grand prize is laughable.

Would anyone be up to try the Cooking with Tangyoon minigame with me? I do not infact have a group of 3 friends who all play maplestory and I am severely doubting anyone walking around in the towns is going to be willing to try it if pestered like 5 times over it on NA kronos

For events with a daily log in there’s usually a stack up of passes for the days you have missed, I didn’t have time to do daily log in because of work and was just going to buy my missing days in passes but there aren’t any? I’ll be a week behind without passes. Am I missing anything?

Hello there, I am thinking of getting a new laptop for when I'm traveling and just going out in general. I was wondering how's the MacOS for maplestory after a few updates have gone by. Is the lag noticeable?

I think this is one of the best event additions included in the game since coming back to MS. Now, I do have some gripes about some items here and there, but generally I love this. I'm pretty sure folks here have noticed how abysmal the earrings come out. Like, my Wind Archer has the most accurate depiction of his golden shield earrings compared to the other two portraits besides him. FYI if you have a character with buzzed/shaved hair, it will most likely not come out accurate in the picture. Both my I/L mage and Marksman have shaved hair and somehow it comes out as short, straight hair.

Would love to do this for all my characters, but sadly there's only one week left T_T

Okay so booom first solo in practice mode, I felt super duper confident went in regular mode and I kept dying out lmfao. Got to 3rd phase with 300 Will and couldn’t parry for shit. I’m almost one bursting phase 1 but keep dying in phase 2 with that treasure chest that spawns every time I’m about to burst and then I got all nervous trying to find the teleporter and my holy fountain kept blocking the the holy thing on the ground (my fault for bad placement) lol so any tips? Currently 385m range about 78k converted its mostly a hands issue and trying to time the Perry but anything else to help?

This marks the end of my MapleStory Tour for my 33rd Birthday… 😩🥺💕🫶🏻

Honestly, I still can’t believe I actually got to do all of this.

For my birthday this year, I decided to go on a little adventure around Taiwan and South Korea, chasing MapleStory events, visiting collaborations, collecting merch, attending meet & greets, watching parades, and experiencing things I never thought I would get to experience as someone who grew up playing this game.
MapleStory has been part of my life for such a long time. It holds so many memories from different stages of my life, and being able to travel around and experience so many of these events for my 33rd birthday felt incredibly special.

I feel genuinely happy and lucky that I was able to experience almost all of their recent events. From Taipei, Jeju, Seoul, and now Busan… every stop had something different and memorable. Of course, I came home with way too much merch 😂 but more importantly, I came home with memories that I know I’ll treasure for a very long time.

And honestly… the timing couldn’t have been better.
To end this whole journey knowing that MapleStory Classic World finally has a release date makes me feel like something has come full circle. 🥺🍄 I’m already building my PC in preparation for it, and I genuinely cannot wait to experience MapleStory all over again.

Maybe it’s silly to some people, but this game has always meant more than just a game to me. It reminds me of my childhood, friendships, different moments in my life, and now somehow… my 33rd birthday too.

I went on a Monday, and honestly… it was AMAZING. Most rides had less than a 10-minute wait, so it basically felt like having a Fast Pass for everything. 😂 There were fewer people around, I didn’t have to fight crowds for merch, and I could actually take my time enjoying everything.

After such an amazing journey, part of me is sad that this MapleStory Birthday Tour is coming to an end. 🥺

But maybe… just maybe… I’ll go back to Lotte World one more time this Thursday before heading back to Singapore.
Because after all…

When will I ever have the chance to be surrounded by this much MapleStory again? 🥺🍄💕🫶🏻

Took 4 months off. Not even a week since returning and got blessed with this.

Did my 1 nightmare boss run this week and got 975 research records, which got converted into 975 coins, but didn't get my 1k coins from the actual clear. (Also did half a run to get the last 25 coins.) How is this supposed to work?

A while ago, I finally defeated Hard Kai at 77m CP with less than a minute less (because I screwed up 2 times during the test).

Next is to either defeat Hard Seren or Adversary and grind to 285 to get the Challenger Medal (currently at 284 and 82m CP but have yet to use all the scroll slots on Verad/Gollux Set).

The progression this time is nuts, because of Hayato and all the new contents that easily pushed me to 284 even with casual grinding when I literally had a grinding nightmare to get to 285 last season.

Challenger Partner also went better than I expected, me and my partner can pretty much punch Normal Kalos to death by estimation but I need to get a few IRL things done before that.

Over the past (at least) 3 events, as far as I can recall the event buffs carried over for a few days.

Last event change they didn't.

Does anyone, other than Inkwell, know if this time around it will carry over or will they disappear right at the 9/9 patch?

I have 132 whisper crystals. I have 21 star ET, 21 star SoS, and a Black Heart equipped. I have two clean CFE's, two clean ET's, and one clean Dreamy Belt. I have another Damaged Black Heart in etc inventory should I need it again. Which Pitched item should I craft next?

What mage has the best teleport? That doesn't prohibit going up or down because of its range? Which mage class has the best mobility + teleport?
