I just buy them at antique stores and throw them in jars. I had no idea that people collect them! Is it the same for buttons? I have a lot of those too!

Hello 👋

I've found this yesterday on a construction site in Germany. Is this a big broken marble or slag from the marble production?

Thank you 😊

Marble game Tropical precision ball platformer we make. Freeroam with friends, or Race them after placing random obstacles (inspired by Ultimate Chicken Horse).

Hi! So I found this marble in the air intake duct of my 1920’s home. It’s pretty beat up but I’d love to know an estimated time period and where it was manufactured if possible. TIA!

Awesome score I got by just searching vintage marbles! Love these babies, the last one was weird it was a clearie, but it has a noticeable touch of color. Is that hairline fracture maybe or a seam of some kind? I'm not sure what to think of it! Any info would be appreciated

Hi everyone, I live in Sweden and found these marbles while cleaning the attic of a 1928 house. Any information on these solid colour ones? Not sure if they are even made of glass.

Also would love a link to videos or reading materials that I could use to help. 4 different marbles here. The last 2 look the same and are smaller than normal marbles. I have calipers coming soon but for now this is what I got. I think im hooked but im getting that butterfly anxious feeling in my stomach and not in a good way, im completely frustrated trying to identify these. I need a recommendation for a good 101 tutorial or something. Help

Was very fortunate to acquire a whole tub of marbles and would really appreciate some help ID-ing some. I understand those in the middle are mostly German hand made (are some onion skins?)but the others I’m completely lost. Thank you!

Any value here? Anything worth finding a collector for?

Have finally got my hands on a 365 and 395um torch, and where the majority of my collection are dull under those lights, these ones shone through - literally. The 395 didn't pop as much as the 365, so from the quick looks I've had, these might just be custard glass and not worth selling individually?

If so, how do I best move on the larger collection? Just Marketplace/Gumtree? Thanks!

With one faceted pontil on one end and a flat spot with exposed swirl pattern grooves as the convergence point of the more dramatically fanned out pole on the opposite this piece is a stunning addition to my collection. I especially enjoy the 4 red white and blue ribbons and 12 yellow threads that accompany them.

These are all from 40’s - 50’s. How do I assess any value to them?

Two recent polish attempts, larger onionskin and ribbon.

Started using circular sandpaper pads from 60-10000+ grit to try to bring some marbles back to life. These are the first two I'm pretty happy with, a 1.7 inch onionskin and a 1.4 inch ribbon. I had to dig a little deep to remove some of the damage, and a few marks still remain on the onionskin so that I didn't have to remove much more.

Marble Collection Marbles so far

Nothing super rare or fancy. My addiction is uranium glass, so in the wooden tray I have 450 modern Czech uranium marbles and 62 vintage uranium marbles. I've collected maybe 5 quart jars of vintage marbles and only sorted out the uranium ones. In the 10" compote are my mostly unsorted vintage marbles, cadmium, manganese etc...One day I might go through all of these xD
