Hear me out:
Thor as a puppet character where his unique controls Mjolnir.
When he has mjolnir in his hand, he's a semi-zoner.
- He can shoot projectile lightning with his 236 input. - 22 Calls a lightning bolt down to different locations depending on button strength.
- 214 is a slow overhead with a plus on block M version.
- DP is a basic rising hammer uppercut.
Use U to throw Mjolnir in all 8 directions. The throw is a bit faster than Blade's undirected unique:
Without Mjolnir, most Thor's normals have much less range, but he moves and dashes faster.
- 236 is a clothesline.
- 22 is a ground stomp low.
- 214 is a grounded hit grab.
- DP is a rising air grab.
While you don't have Mjolnir:
- You can call it back with neutral U.
- U and a direction sends Mjolnir in that direction with a hitbox. Thor has to make a small motion to direct it. It's not like Storm wind that can be used during any action.
- Performing specials while Mjolnir is out causes it to emit a lightning hitbox that knock the target towards Thor.
- You get 4 actions with Mjolnir before it has to come back. 4 pips. Moving it uses a pip. You have to recharge the pips by landing attacks with Mjolnir like Shuri's U.
Honestly, I'm sure I'll be fine with whatever Arcsys does if they DO add him to the game. They've been on point with the characters so far, but I think puppet Thor would be a cool, unique entry for this game.
