I’m so happy to be writing for MOTU and for Duncan in particular. Mat-At-Arms was one of the first figures I got back in the day.

1. Original 82 Mini-comics. This was how I got to know He-man and the Masters of the Universe. No Prince Adam and Cringer. Just He-man and Battle Cat. Man-at-Arms and Teela were colleagues not Father and daughter. Skeletor was seriously scary evil, not goofy. And it was just him and his henchmen, no army.

2. 200X MOTU - it gave us full detailed stories of how MOTU as we knew it came to be. Especially the origin stories.

3. Filmation/ 2026 Movie - I can see these worlds co-existing. The reason this ranks lower than 200X is because after being used to the Mini-Comic stories and I watched this for the first time, it was the first "WTF" thought I remember having.

4. 80's Movie. This was my second "WTF" thought I remember having. This was not MOTU.

Does anyone know a customs guy that can produce such a thing? I would need only the front facade of the Castle to stand flat against a wall, and it would have to scale with Origins 200x Cartoon Collection figures. You can see the beginning of Eamon O'donoghue's Classics collection video on YouTube for a reference of what I'm looking for. Thank you.

Does anyone know if there’s a proper version of castle grayskull which can be printed? I found a few in bambu handy, but none that were actually meant to be played with (with origin toys).

I’m working on building a Grayskull that can scale with Chronicles using cardboard and other assorted materials.

When finished it should be about the scale of the classics version.

I’ve attached the measurements I’m using to build it if anyone else would like to make one for themselves

does anyone have a picture of what in store poster dislay looked like ?

My introduction to the world of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe was the 2000s cartoon reboot. In my opinion it is the best example of how a reboot should be made. It kept the fun spirit of the original but it had a mature tone, serialised story, more nuance and depth for the cast, great voice acting and good animation.

And yet it feels like the reboot is often overlooked if not outright ignored by the majority of the fandom. I know the toy line failed financially but the fault lies with mattel and it's obsession with He-Man and Skeletor variants and not making the toys properly articulated.

And there is the fact that CN kept changing the schedule for the cartoon so no one knew when it aired.

Fortunately, there are still people who love the 2000 cartoon and it appears mattel is giving the reboot the respect it deserves with the new line of 2000s MOTU toys. There is even confirmation of a blu ray collection coming very soon. As a fan of the series that made me a fan of Masters of the universe, I am happy to see this part of the franchise get the recognition and respect it deserves. And with the success of the new MOTU film hopefully more fans will discover the show that breathed new life into the franchise.

I’m watching it right now with my 3 year old daughter and she’s so into it, which is lucky because so am I.

It really holds up to me. It’s funny, but isn’t too slapstick. It’s got a great story, with good action and plenty of heart. And to top it off, as someone who grew up watching it and loving it with my little sister, and as a father to one-year old twins (a boy and a girl), watching He-Man and She-Ra find each other gets me right in the feels. This movie is GREAT.

My only issue is that the new movie teases a fully formed She-Ra at the end and that makes me worried they won’t use this as the inspiration for a live action movie, but I guess you can’t win them all eh?
