Finally started doing it the traditional way.
I used to just use an electric whisk and a matcha I bought from Don Quixote but my love for matcha has become more intense and I finally caved in and bought these. I do find it more relaxing to whisk the traditional way.

That foam is unreal 😍 that's what a proper chasen whisk gets you, so satisfying compared to the electric whisk

Beautiful setup! Welcome to the traditional way. If you like Ippodo matcha, you should definitely try Unmon no Mukashi. It’s my personal favorite, and I’d recommend it over any other Ippodo matcha. Hope you get a chance to try it!
