AMC 12 AMC cheating

Im trying for AIME qualification this year, and I think I can comfortably get a 105-115 but I’ve been hearing about the mass amc12 leaks and wanted to know how much that will affect the minimum scores for this year. I know it went up for 2025 by quite a few points, and wanted to know if it will go up this year by around that much again.

It's 85 on AMC 12. MAA released a statement and updates last week iirc

Tests should be the same difficulty, so in theory it shouldn’t matter too much. Unfortunately MAA is not the greatest at calibrating the difficulty of their contests so we genuinely could just have top 20% of AMC 10 qualify (hyperbole)

yeah theres always slight variations in the difficulty of each test. there might be some years when way too many people score high but not considering AMC for USAMO eliminates the issue of indexes being too high

They aren't even the greatest at calibrating their contests period. amc12a 2025 p25 💀
