CX-90 PHEV 2025 Premium Plus with 21483 miles, had this exact problem last year for months, car spent two weeks at dealer in October with dead AC and 10 different codes that came after U0605 “LIM communication system: comm error between electric compressor and PCM”. Main computer had to be replaced. Car was OK until now except occasional glitches. Now U0605 is back with engine malfunction greeting. Mazda service department lady said “you are number 3 this week with CX-90 AC problem!” They will have loaner on Friday as they have to give CX-90 to CX-90 owners, and they are out, lol. Anyone else is having AC issues?

Just bought a new 2026 CX-90 Turbo Sport and already having some issues. 🙄

I picked it up with only 25 miles on it, and unfortunately I haven’t had the best luck so far.

First, there was a scratch across the driver’s fender and into the paint that was there when I picked it up. The dealer is agreeing to fix that.

A few days later, I took it on the highway for the first time and noticed a rhythmic vibration around 75 mph. I can feel it through the floor, seat, and a little in steering wheel. The driver’s side mirror is also shaking enough that it becomes blurry on highway speeds.

My first thought was a tire/wheel balance issue. While looking underneath the car, I also noticed the plastic splash shield/liner underneath the front bumper near the wheels on the driver and the passenger side is scraped up, which has me wondering if it may have been damaged during delivery or before I took possession.

I brought it back to the dealer. The techs said they couldn’t recreate the vibration I was describing, although they could see some movement in the driver’s mirror. They also said their multipoint inspection and test drive didn’t show anything.

For those who own a CX-90, is some vehicle vibration normal around 75 mph, or is it really “butter smooth” and I should be pushing them to check the wheel/tire balance beyond their “ inspection? “

I took this video at around 73-75 mph. I also have one at idle where the water is barely moving, and another with the phone sitting in my lap on the highway where you can see the movement.

Would appreciate any input before I lose it. Thanks!

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed that ceramic coatings don't work or last on the front windshield? All other glass on the car seems to repel water from the coating just fine except the windshield. Possibly type of glass or coating on it from factory?

Hi. Has anyone tried to remove the front camera shroud from a 2026? I want to install a Mangoal camera on the front, and cannot get the front electronics shield off (behind the rear view mirror). The plastic is really fighting me.

Im so pissed off at myself for screwing my rear bumper, completely stupid and novice mistake. I knew there is a dip but thought i might not go inside it but ofc i reversed too much and my rear bumper hit the dip below road and created a dent. No other damages. Its really annoying me as its my new mazda, should i fix this myself?

Hey all, I am looking to get a dashcam installed in my 25 90 MHEV. Has anyone had any issues with a fuse-hardwired installation? Battery drain and such?

I ask because I picked up a hardwire kit which hooks up to the fuses on the car from Bestbuy. I was going to have it installed there as well but a few days before my appointment I got a call from someone saying the kit I had purchased was not a good idea for this car and I should instead get a OBD kit so I did. I had no issues believing the guy since he seemed well informed, reached out to me himself, knew about my car and gave me an alternative.

My appointment was originally scheduled for yesterday at 4:30pm. I asked the guy who called me a few days back if that will be enough time for them since it’s kind of late in the day and he said yeah no problem, should be fine. However, I checked yesterday morning and saw my appointment was canceled, didn’t think much of it, thought there was some miscommunication with the guy and he canceled it so that I could get the alternative option. But I had it and was able to reschedule the same appointment at like 10 in the morning yesterday and went to bed (night shift worker). I woke up at 3:30 for the appointment and saw BB had called me 5 times throughout the day so i called them back and they say it’s not enough time???? I mentioned the other guy who called earlier and made sure it would be but this guy said no one from their shop had called me?? Confusing but Okay not a big deal whatever, I rescheduled to tomorrow but now I am wondering why there was a conflict in the information given to me. And if the hardwire kit issue was also not correct?

Not a big concern but I would like some clarification since this car is known to have some battery problems. Plus, I got a check engine light two nights ago after I took a very quick accelerating turn. Will have to get that checked out too now, womp womp.

Everytime I push the battery charge button this warning comes up. #1, do we really need this question? #2, shouldn't the responses be Yes or No? The first couple times I thought by hitting "cancel" I cancelled the charging. Yes, this is petty and downvote me if you want but this irritates me and I had to get it off my chest. Maybe I am not the only one? 😀

I brought my one year old 2025 PHEV in to start documenting excessive tread wear on the factory tires in preparation for getting a tire claim going. While I was there, I asked for a full inspection of everything else, and I'm damn glad I did. It'll be covered under warranty but they have to check with Mazda to see if a full replacement is needed or a seal will do.

Has this happened to anyone else? Pretty good luck I suppose that I brought it in considering I wasn't due for another oil change and inspection for a while. This could have easily gone unnoticed and led to high friction destroying the pinions, ring gears, and bearings. Just wild.

Update, i drove it, didn't like it that much, the jerk in upshifts, the hollowness of doors compared to other cars of the caliber. I tried Santa Fe , Exceptional cockpit, didn't like exterior styling, then resorted to a bit of a different car, the GV70 2.5t. Thanks all.

Has anyone who didn't buy their car from a dealership like I leased my through a broker had any success getting their tires replaced under the tsb. I have a appointment at my local dealership who I didn't buy my 90 from for the fuel gauge recall and my tires are at 16k miles and gone. I'm hoping they will replace them for me.
