Windshield coating?

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed that ceramic coatings don't work or last on the front windshield? All other glass on the car seems to repel water from the coating just fine except the windshield. Possibly type of glass or coating on it from factory?

Or, perhaps the constant barrage of water/dust/rocks the front windshield sees, plus the rubbing of the wipers, vs the minimal stuff hitting the other windows at high speed....

It's just physics. Like how a rock in a stream will get smooth faster than a rocks not in a stream.

Maybe, but previous car 23 CX-5, had no issues, used same products and was able to drive without wipers in the rain as the water just rolled right off it

Have you tried rain-x? We use it on all our cars and that's exactly what it does. It definitely lasts much longer on the rear and side windows vs the windshield...

If you apply rain-x, then use rain-x windshield washer fluid it last even longer.

I've been using rain-x for over 20 years. I pretty much apply it once a year since I started using the washer fluid, before that I was doing it every 3-4 months because it would wear off the windshield faster, and I would just do the other windows while I was at it...
