My mom died unexpectedly and we are not able to care for him. He is 14 weeks old. He is Shepard mix. He is very sweet and smart. He knows how to sit and shake and is potty trained for the most part. He comes with food, bowls, toys and crate. He is crate trained at night. She had been training him at night in the crate. He has not had his shots yet, as she just got him a couple of weeks ago. we just want him to go to a good home. $50

Are there any north texas chauffeur business that will drive you to and home from work? Like giving them a set schedule and time instead of like Uber/ Lyft where you gotta wait till someone accepts you.

Looking for vet recommendations in the area for an anxious beagle that needs routine care. I had used Metro Paws & loved them but I don't wanna drive all the way back out there if at all possible.

My boy is anxious & requires trazadone for his appointments. I know it's not terribly usual but it seems not all vets are as patient as others when it comes our routine visits. I've had some awful experiences with him.

My husband and I are currently on the fence about having kids, but we're leaning toward it. One of our biggest hang ups is honestly the cost, so we're trying to get a realistic idea of what it actually costs to raise a child in the Plano/Allen/McKinney area.
I'm interested in hearing from local parents about what you actually spend and what income you feel is needed to be comfortable while still being able to enjoy life.

A few things I'm particularly curious about:

• Daycare: What are you paying for infants/toddlers? How much did it drop once they started school?
• Extracurriculars: Sports, music, dance, clubs, etc. We're not planning on doing travel sports, but I'd like to have an idea of what regular activities cost.
• Clothing: Roughly how much do you spend per year?
• Teen expenses: How much do you find yourself spending on things like hanging out with friends, movies, food, activities, etc.?
• Family travel: We love to travel and really want to continue doing that with kids. How often do you travel, where do you generally go, and what does it cost for your family?
• Miscellaneous: Birthday/Christmas gifts, family outings, school expenses, random kid stuff, etc.
• If you save for your kids' college, first car, or possibly helping with a future down payment, how much are you putting aside?

A little background on us:

• We currently rent a small 3-bedroom house in Plano for about $2,100/month, but we'd probably want something bigger within the next few years.
• We plan to use public schools.
• I'm a teacher, so we wouldn’t  need the same amount of childcare during summers/school breaks. 
• My husband has no student loan debt, and I'll have mine paid off within the next 2 years.
• We mostly eat at home.
• We would like to save for their future:  help with college, first car, possibly helping with a future down payment.
• We're pretty naturally frugal. We don't regularly buy new clothes, shoes, bags, etc. We tend to spend more on experiences than things.
• We currently take a big trip about every other year and smaller/more affordable trips in between.

What's up with the Swig the last two days? The line goes across the entire length of the Kroger parking lot and wraps back around to Swig on the access road. The pic was taken next to the Kroger gas station.

I have a side entry door to my garage and over time this 4 ft x 4 ft x 6 in concrete stoop has moved about 8 inches laterally and 3 inches out/away from door threshold. It's a nice piece of work and I'd really rather have it moved back into place rather than just have it demo'd and repoured.

My 7 year old daughter is wanting to do an after school/weekend activity. She has mentioned Taekwondo, Jiu-Jitsu, Cheer, and Gymnastics. Looking for recommendations in the West McKinney/East Frisco, North Plano and North Allen areas.

This is our first house, we previously only lived in apartments. We live in a rental house community who uses Conservice, so we never get to see the electric bill directly.

Our billing cycle was from 6/13 - 7/13, and shows our consummation as 1616. Totaling $278.51. We have around 1300 sq ft and keep the ac on 71 at night, and 72-73 during the day.

Is this normal amount for summer months?

Hi everyone! We’re new to McKinney, and I’m hoping someone might have a recommendation.

My 7-year-old daughter is training in competitive swimming with a private coach, and we’re looking for a full-size pool where she can practice regularly with her coach.

So far, the recreation centers we’ve contacted don’t allow outside/private coaches to conduct training in their pools because the coach isn’t employed by the facility.

Does anyone know of a pool in the McKinney/Frisco/Allen area—or even elsewhere in North Dallas—that allows swimmers to bring their own coach for training? We’re happy to pay for pool access, lane rental, or a membership if needed.

I’d really appreciate any recommendations, especially from parents involved in competitive swimming. Thank you!
