need help Please help for numbering
Can someone tell me the quickest way to add page numbers in Ms Word 2007 to all pages at once.
Whenever I try to add it either messes up and numbers only 9 pages at once

You have section breaks. Page numbering applies to sections. Click into your header/footer, and you will see something like “odd page section 1”. Scroll down 9 pages to the first page without a page number, and you’ll see “section 2”. Copy/paste your page number from the first section into the second section, and configure it to “continue numbering from the previous section”. Repeat for all subsequent sections.
Or, alternatively, you can configure each sections to “match the previous section”. Some people don’t want this because they want a chapter title at the top of each chapter page, so they cannot have chapter 2 match chapter 1, however they CAN have their page numbering continue from the previous numbering.

When you're in one footer where you put the page numbers go to 'next' and click 'same as previous'.

I had so many issues in a big document that I ended up copy paste to a new document, and then used a footer for the page number.

Any section breaks in the document? This can screw up the page numbering.
