So umm. Should i make a mod that reworks the crafting recipes to be Accurate?
Example: You need Two slabs of planks and wool to make a bed. And You need three Wood planks for 4 stairs

You will also need iron nuggets to represent the nails, also, you need to make wool into actual fabric, which then should be sewn and turned into a pillow using a feather

Well i guess I'll use flint nails. /s
Because you can't get iron that early (based on my experience)

Minecraft comes from Sweden, the home of Ikea. If you think about it you get a bed by "combining" those pieces the same way as you combine the elements in an Ikea set, so you get a bed but from raw materials without any further change to them (except in an Ikea set you get ready materials that are not raw but you don't have to change them in most part)
