Mossberg shockwave

I was thinking what if someone had one threaded of choke tubes and put a rifle choke up in it to make a true scatter gun for fun. Would that reclassify it as a different weapon or not i dont see why it would but it be interesting to try and see just how wide the spread gets and how custom T shot tungsten shot with a heavy payload would perform i shot t tungsten t shot before and its stupiditly hard hitting if it was legal here i try to take a deer with it. I heard people using it against geese but it destroys them. Completely over kill. What do you think cool project?

Don't wanna be a dick but I think you're looking for a solution to a problem that already has many.

Generally the idea of a hunting shotgun is not to have maximum scatter at distance. I could see wanting maximum scatter out of a home defense gun though.

If you're looking to take game at distance, go drop $350 on a Benelli Nova. You can't do better for the money. If you want home defense, then I think you're on the right track.

Im not hunting with it lmao I was just talking about a fun gun. Yeah I have several different shotguns including a super nova I use for ducks and geese.

If I was going to attempt something like this, I wouldn't, it sounds stupid and pointless. But as a thought experiment, if I was seeking to maximize pattern size for... some reason, I'd probably try to use something like a duckbill rather than a rifled choke. To me a wide linear pattern seems more useful than a donut. There was a company making a modernised duckbill at one point, idk about now as I'm pretty sure that company went under but it's potentially worth a web search.
