Thank you to everyone who stopped by for New Mod Office Hour! Feel free to use this space to continue those great conversations and ask questions we may not have gotten to.

We got a lot of questions around growing a new community, spanning topics like:

• Helpful Devvit apps for new mods, including Community Home, Lock Removed Posts, Flair Assistant, Expanded Polls, and more.
• How to overcome common challenges new communities face. One piece of advice we shared was to add a mod to your team and have a great partner who can help create content and moderate the space. 
• How to handle bad actors. One great tool we discussed is Crowd Control, a safety setting that lets mods automatically collapse or filter content from users who aren’t trusted members of their community.
• How to keep engaging your community. We chatted about a few ways to spark conversations, and some of the tips we shared are in this article.
• How to deal with users that keep breaking your rules. We shared how Removal Reasons can be a great tool for educating your community and providing transparency on rule enforcement. We also chatted about helpful mod tools to enforce rules from the start, like Post and Comment Guidance.

The real world examples were my favorite part. Hearing how other mods handle different situations makes it a lot easier to apply those ideas in our own communities.

Really helpful session. We have been using Comment MP for our community, and we are planning to install Community Home today. Looking forward to trying it out and seeing how much it helps with managing the community.

Informative event for sure and it was great to hear the views of senior admin members.

I would like to point out one thing @u/big-slay &u/iceeypisces , in this event preference was given to new mods which is absolutely fine.

In future please arrange another mod event like this where a bit of preference is given to moderately senior and senior mods, i believe there are quite a few issues which people who have been moderating for a bit more time would like to raise infront of such a knowledgeable and senior admin team.

Just a suggestion.
