Have you guys listened to Wyclef Jean’s new album Q Theory: Quantum Leap Vol. 2? It’s very jazz-influenced, with a mix of Caribbean rhythms 🤩 I love it!

Essential listening imo. Vocal jazz that's classy and romantic while still being hyper modern. You might know her as half of the jazz-funk legends KNOWER. The usual players are here- Louis Cole, co leader of Knower, and her off/on partner Chris Fishmans (of Pat Methenys side eye 3.) Newcomer Pedro Martins, a prodigal Brazilian guitarist, takes the spotlight though.

Gave it a long revisit and review in light of her upcoming fourth album and tour, which I'm greatly looking forward too.

Particularly psychedelic and heavy improvisation with tons of attitude and a couple features from Jeff Parker and Chad Taylor.
