I (M 20.) am in a situation where, for reasons which, for obvious reasons, can't be explained here, may soon be kicked out of my house, or at least, would be forced to leave to avoid certain issues. I'm currently pursuing an AAS in math at MC, and do not have a job or any friends. I also don't do any drugs or drink (In case that's relevant.) My question is: does anyone have advice for this situation? I have LITERALLY nobody to turn to in real life, since my family doesn't live here, and as stated before, I have no friends.

I’ve received 3 HOA violations in the last week that have no merit. The first was to “remove bricks stacked on the side of the house.” The bricks are actually landscape pavers placed in a circular pattern around a large arborvitae to prevent runoff during rain storms. It’s been there for years.

The second was to cut my grass below 8 inches. It’s well know that Maryland is experiencing drought conditions. I wish my grass could grow 8 inches but unfortunately it’s gone dormant. The bigger issues is my entire street has the same landscaping company, and they cut the entire street every 2 weeks like clockwork. However, I checked with my neighbors and no one else received a notice. Every spring we fertilize our lawn, trim the bushes, mulch all the trees and planting beds. We plant annuals and perennials. This takes an incredible amount of time that even our neighbors don’t do. I feel like I’m being targeted when in fact we take pride maintaining our yard and landscaping.

Isn’t there a county commission that regulates HOAs and resolves disputes? This is getting ridiculous.

I hope this question is okay here. I am reaching the age I need to get things like a colonoscopy and prostate exam. I'd like to see a doctor who is queer friendly so I can discuss sexual activity without fear of judgement. Can anyone recommend one in this area? I live in downtown Silver Spring.

This is the second morning in a row where a scheduled bus hasn't shown up and I've had to take a Lyft. It was two different routes and one of them is affected by the Red Line closure, but I've been riding RideOn for 9 years and I've never had to take as many Lyfts as I have in the past six weeks. Is this just a ripple effect from the track work? Is anyone else having this problem or did I just hit a patch of bad luck?
