North Moorhead grow op

Hey guys growing out of the old land of lakes building I have tried to reach out to you privately. But now I'm worried for the masses. This rain will probably cause you to have a mold problem during cure due to not having a roof or rain break over your crops. If you'd like more advice on how to grow better I left you my number already.

Petition to DeFlock Moorhead MN.

I've never been good at writing stories or figuring out how to go about things like petitions, but any advice is welcome.

To put it bluntly, We want Moorhead MN to cancel any contracts with Flock, and to Divert funding towards things that actually benefit the community.

Best doctors for LGBTQ?

I'm moving soon and wondering if anyone has recommendations for doctors/NP who are experienced with trans individuals. Preferably women as I feel more comfy with women doctors but not required. Also open to general healthcare suggestions like dentists and therapists. Hoping for people on the Minnesota side of the river but I know that's probably not realistic. Thank you in advance!

Very good chance we are moving across the river soon. Would like some feedback on Horizon middle school, our son has 4 or 5 friends that attend snd he is worried he may not see them at all during the day.

Is this place closed? Google says they’re open seven days a week, but me and my wife went there to go hit some balls. The door was locked and it looked closed, nor on their website says that their seasonal and I see no indications on social media that they’ve closed. Any insight?

Not sure if this is allowed, but it's worth a shot.

If you value independent artists over corporate interests, please hear me out. A dear friend, Ken Bartz, passed away a year ago, and his beloved radio station, a labor of love from the ground up, is on the verge of being bought out. Please help! If you can't donate a large amount, donate a dollar. If you can't donate, share. Every little bit counts 🙏

I stumbled across this mural the other night with a buddy of mine and went back during the day to take a picture. Does anyone know anything about it? Me and my buddy thought it was a bit strange (we're not from around here so we aren't sure if this is common) and we're just wondering if anyone knows anything about it?

A dot of Blue in a sea of red

I thought it was the county that's blue but this is just section 4A

From what I looked at 4B had more red votes for all the races except Governor 4B is more than non-Moorhead Glay county (some Becker County in 4B)

Moorhead dispensary reviews

TLDR: check out Rosebuds, all others are ok

So I went around to all the local dispensaries and here are my thoughts:

Waabigwan Mashkiki

-has a local reputation of having bad weed. I also had the same experience.

- You go in, get carded, and someone on a tablet comes to you and you look at the products and select the ones you want. Then they sent it back to get put in a bag and you get called up to the front to pay.

-Prices are pretty high and not a lot of selection.

It is Native owned though, which is a plus.

Unwind

-locally owned with LOTS of choices. Almost too many choices.

-Prices are good.

-Has drinks, gummies, paper, supplies, pre rolls. When I went they were out of flower.

-you go in, get carded, waiting a lobby for an employee to get you and they answer any questions you have. They grab your selection behind the counter and you pay

-(a birdy told me that they bought a bunch of weed but it expires in July, so sales could be soon)

Green Goods

-not local

-has a very weird setup. You go in, get carded, and then you walk over to an iPad and add your items to cart and then submit it to send it to the counter. Someone in the back puts it in a bag and gives it to the cashier who will ring you up.

-has medical products and adult use

-med products are cheaper

-selection is ok. No drinks, just gummies, pre rolls, flower and rolling paper accessories

Beeswax

-has of writing this I haven't been here, I just found out this is an actual dispensary. I thought it just sold gummies.

-has pre rolls, flower and gummies. Products (on website) look very flashy and kind of have a gas station vibe to them. Not sure how third party tested they are.

Rosebuds (formerly Ediblez OTC)

-this I think is the best one

-locally owned and definitely has the local store vibe you crave

-pharmacist owned

-not employees, just the owner. He isn't a "I want to sell you weed" guy, but more of a "weed is amazing and I want to share it with the world so I opened a store" kind of guy

-ask him ANYTHING and he knows it. He can explain chemistry very well

-has drinks, gummies, flower, vapes, pre rolls and accessories

-high quality products

-selection is limited, but kinda is like Costco. Not everything but the best stuff available hand selected by the owner

-only place I know of locally that sells cannabis seeds and ALL the supplies you need to grow them. He is an expert on this and can help you get started. It saves money too to grow your own

Let me know what you think of the dispensaries above.
