HES timing

I just replaced my HES on my R1150R Rockster, and im trying to see if the timing is right. I'm using my dad's Snap-on MT212. Does this look OK? Still sounds a bit rough to me.

Roger that. IT's fine. If you didn't scribe the old one, just put the new one in the center and forget about it. There's only a few degrees of throw one way or another. You can't be too far off no matter what you do.

Btw, did it fail? The 1150 HES is supposed to be more reliable than the 1100 series.

Yea, the bike started running rough, then I took it for a short drive the next day and it was popping and banging badly. I shut it down and it wouldn't start again.

Interesting. Thanks. Good luck with it.
