I think ever since Shayy got exposed, every undertale fan spontaneously learned how to read, so it probably won't count

We were taught to spread democracy while being on lethal doses of crack.
It is very bold to assume we can read

I heard it lets you draw two additional cards from your deck, but I don’t know if it’s true
37
u/doggo_with_doggo_hat 1d ago
idiot, you play POT OF GREED which allows you to draw 3 aditional cards from your deck, you combo it with MAGIC FORCE which allows you to play POT OF GREED which allows you to draw 3 cards from your deck

To be fair, many of the people that play Enneacraft don't even know what their own cards do https://ygoprodeck.com/card/enneacraft-atori-mar-15257

u/yubuliimii 1d ago
Literally any TCG, tbh.
I'm playing the Pokemon TCG, and the amount of times I had to explain 2 cards is ridiculous.
Yes, it removes your tools, special energies and the stadium. No, your energy that prevents effects of attacks doesn't protect from, it's not an attack.
Yes, you take 160 damage between all turns, not just once. It says so on the damn card!!

I used to really like Shayy's Troll Mod 4 Harder Mode video until that line got so overused that it retroactively ruined it.

I’d say the average villainous/romance/ emperoress webtoon fandom
You know how the breaking bad fandom was with Skylar white well think that behavior times a thousand
Like they will have the most evil most unlikable ml/fl and they will hate sole female side character because she got in the way of the mc
Or did something annoying

u/Wellie_man 23h ago

u/Yoshi2255 14h ago
Magic the Gathering especially commander players, you would think that people playing a game basically about reading would be at least decent at it, but somehow in most commander games at some point someone will either break a rule because they didn't read what their card does, or just say "I ain't reading all that" and hope that it doesn't affect them.

I already dumped on the Epic: The Musical fandom on this subreddit yesterday, but some of their takes really make you wonder if they actually listen to/read the lyrics.
"Odysseus cheated on Penelope:" In the OG poem, yes. NOT IN THE MUSICAL!!!!
"Eurylochus wanted to abandon the ENTIRE crew on Circe's Island and only save himself:" Literally says to Odysseus "think of the men we have left before there's none."
"It's Athena's fault Odysseus revealed his name to Polyphemus because she didn't tell him he's Poseidon's son! How was he supposed to know doxxing himself to the cyclops was dangerous?!" He knew because he literally told Polyphemus his name was "Nobody" at first.
"Eurylochus NEVER EVER takes accountability for his mistakes." He literally confessed to his biggest fuck-up in the song "Scylla" (which I maintain is one of the musical's worst writing decisions) when he was under no pressure to do so.
"Poseidon would've let Odysseus go if the Ody just apologized for blinding his son:" What did Poseidon say again? "The line between NAIVETY and hopefulness is almost invisible."

Dragon ball no question mainly because it's probably one of if not the biggest fandoms on earth but there are so many people who will see the most obviously stated thing ever such as goku is the legendary super Saiyan during namek and will argue he's not
