ich bin schon öfter an dem Gebäude an der Ecke Adalbertstraße / Kurfürstenstraße vorbeigekommen und frage mich langsam, was sich dort eigentlich befindet.

Ich finde online irgendwie kaum Informationen darüber bzw. keine klare Angabe, welche Firma dort sitzt. Was mich besonders neugierig macht: Das Gebäude scheint ständig bewacht bzw. von Sicherheitsleuten überwacht zu werden.

Weiß jemand von euch, was dort drin ist oder welche Firma das Gebäude nutzt?

Würde mich einfach interessieren, vielleicht kennt jemand aus der Gegend den Laden

I made a small browser game called Umsteigen. It gives you a start and an end station and you have to name which U- and S-Bahn lines you'd take to make that journey. There's a daily puzzle with 5 rounds, plus a free play mode if you want to keep going.

I put the Berlin version out about two months ago and people liked it more than I expected. Many asked to extend the game to other cities, and a lot of people asked for Munich, so it's now live:

Hello! I’ve multiple skin issues and I am looking for a good skin doctor - preferably English speaking too - who listens and cares. For instance, other than skin itching issues I’ve a particular spot on my stomach that pricks and has been around for a year now. the gp doesn’t have a solution and it doesn’t throw up anything on the ultrasound. I am visiting Munich with my husband this fall for the third time and we have checked most of the tourist boxes. So I’m here for recommendations for things to do that are a bit more local-ish or non-touristy or off the beaten path!
We love theater, hiking, history.
We always enjoy a bike tour around a new city (& haven’t yet done one of these) and we have enjoyed day trips to smaller cities when we’ve traveled through Europe.

Things we’ve already done/seen:
Visited fussen / Neuschwanstein, attended opening ceremony for Oktoberfest, Dachau tour, hofbrauhaus, Marienplatz, victualenmarkt.

We’re willing to rent a car or travel by train to get outside the city so we’d love recommendations for things in Munich proper & things that are day trips.

Unfortunately this morning our little cat Estia passed away. She was young and everything went so fast even if we and the vet tried our best to save her.
Now we have a hole in our hearth and lots of cats stuff and toys to give away.
We would like to give those things to a cat associations but we are not German and not really informed about any association or cat shelter in the city.
Do you have any information about it?

Also bedroom items like bedsheets, closet organisers. Just shops that have affordable household items. I’ve looked in the supermarkets but they are quite pricey there.

Ich suche Routen/ Ideen für eine bestmögliche Wirtshaustour in München. Meine Familie aus dem schönen Ruhrgebiet ist die kommende Woche zu Besuch und wir schenken meinem Onkel den Tag zum Geburtstag. Bisher steht dass die Tour ca 6 Stopps beinhalten soll, möglichst schöne Spazierroute, Stop bei Optimal Records (Geschenk inkl. Schallplatte), als letzter Stop Wirtshaus mit richtig gutem Abendessen. Wir haben ein paar Ideen a la Wirtshaus in der Au, Haidhausen Ecke (Klosterwirt evtl?) aber noch nicht die perfekte Route.
Haut gerne mal eure Ideen für Must See Wirtshäuser raus (gerne auch in Richtung alternativ etc) 🙏🏻

I am using MVVSwipe for my journeys, but I am seeing the hold of €40 for every swipe.

I know that the money comes back within 12 days, and I am charged correctly, but at this point MVV has charged me €160, and I am specifically confused why would they hold €120 when I made 3 trips in a day. I was expecting the maximum hold once and then nothing.

Anyone else had this same thing? What did you do about it?

ich wäre an euren Erfahrungen zum BikeSharing-Dienst myRadl interessiert.

Ich habe das von Mitte Mai bis Mitte Juni relativ häufig genutzt, und war, insbesondere die die Räder fast neu waren, relativ erschrocken von der Qualität.

Mir sind dabei mehrere Mängel bei den e-Bikes regelmäßig aufgefallen:

- Vorderlicht so schwach und (fix) kurz eingestellt, dass man damit im Dunkeln zwar gesehen wird, aber selbst nicht viel sieht. Also selbst auf mäßig ausgeleuchteten Radwegen musste ich deutlich langsamer als die möglichen 25 km/h fahren um Dinge rechtzeitig zu sehen, und an Strecken wie den Isarradelweg war nicht zu denken.

- Schnellspanner für Sattel waren bei gefühlt ca. 50 Prozent der Räder nicht richtig festzuziehen (ohne Werkzeug um die Schraube nachzuziehen), sodass der Sattel teils garnicht hielt oder teils während der Fahrt Stück für Stück absackte.

-Häufig hatten die Räder auch andere Defekte, wie bei jeder Umdrehung springende Ketten, lose Sattelverschraubungen, etc.

Mich hat das für fast neue Räder sehr gewundert.

Auch hat Nextbike, wenn ich teilweise auf eine Fahrt mehrfach wegen Problemen das Rad an Stationen auf dem Weg wechseln musste, manche dieser Buchungen über 1,50 Euro nicht erstattet, obwohl aus der Historie und Problemmeldung deutlich ersichtlich war, dass ich das Rad wegen eines Problems auf dem Weg getauscht habe.

Geht es nur mir so? Gefühlt sind die Räder andere Anbieter da deutlich besser, aber natürlich auch teurer.

Weiß jemand was die Stadt da ausgeschrieben hatte? Für mich wirkt es wie "möglichst billig, aber grade eben noch StVO konform"

Kennt jemand hohe, kostenlos zugängliche Orte in München mit guter Fernsicht? Ich möchte dort ein Spektiv testen.

Olympiaberg und Perlacher Mugl habe ich schon auf der Liste. Am besten suche ich noch etwas mitten in der Stadt – gerne auch ein Parkhaus, Dach oder sonstiger Geheimtipp.

Hi everyone! I’m Japanese and I’m planning to visit Therme Erding during my trip to Munich. It’ll be my first time at a German spa/sauna, so I have a few questions for anyone who has been to Therme Erding before.

1. Swimwear

Is there any particular rule about what kind of swimsuit you can wear in the pool areas? In Japan, most men wear something like a rash guard or swim shirt, so I’m wondering what’s normal in Germany. Do most European men just swim shirtless, or would wearing a rash guard be totally fine?

1. What to bring(pool areas)

What would you recommend bringing? I’m planning to bring flip-flops/sandals and a bath towel for the pool areas. Do most people bring their own towels, or is it common to rent them there?

1. Smartphones

   Do people normally leave their smartphones in their lockers for the whole time? Or is it okay to carry them around in the pool areas? If people do carry them, would you recommend a waterproof phone pouch with a strap, or is it better to just leave the phone in the locker?

2. Sauna area

I’m planning to rent one of the large sauna towels. Would you also recommend renting a bathrobe? Is it normal to walk around the sauna area with just a towel wrapped around your body, or would a bathrobe be more common?

Had a work colleague park his rental car in an Edeka (Dachauer str) parking lot Saturday evening, by the time dinner was over the Edeka was closed, and closed Sunday.

Does anyone know if Edeka tows/impounds cars? Or what’s the probability it’s still there come Monday?

UPDATE: car was still there, no tickets or fines!
