I feel like the best option that a (former) MAGA has is to generally stay quiet about what they used to believe, and while shutting up, maybe try listening a little bit? I know that a bunch will eventually be lying about it, "oh, no, I never supported him!"
And that is annoying, but I'll take it. Welcome back to society.

I'm mostly going off thread and just commenting on Vances snippit. but no party is a big tent party and the entrance to the tent is always changing. I find it hard to find a party I can actually relate to and mostly just end up voting Dem just because they're not pushing the garbage that Republicans have hung their hats on.

I took a Logic class in college....I know, I know...only stupid people seek higher education. Just bear with me....
We learned about something that businesses do with advertising. Let's take Bank of America, for example. At that time BofA was advertising about how wonderful their customer service was and that people come to their bank just for it. The truth of the matter, according to BBB complaints, was the horrible customer service people experienced at BofA.
That is exactly what politicians, and especially the current MAGA admin, use to try to bullshit people into thinking the exact opposite of reality. And it works.... people believe the bullshit. The problem is...it's still bullshit.

The last time they welcomed any new group to the party was during the civil rights movement when the Dems decided to treat black people like people and exiled their racist Dixiecrat cohort.
