I'm just realizing this, doesn't he require his hands to use his quirk?

So, I am hoping to get into some My Hero Academia fanfictions and wanted to hear some good recommendations for funny/wholesome fanfics if they exist (because tbh, I am kinda tired of reading a lot of angsty stuff and would like something fluffy).

If Deku’s quirks got upgrades, I could imagine them being like this:

1. One For All - The core of Deku’s abilities. One For All was passed down to him from All Might when he asked him if he could be a hero without a quirk. If the core got an upgrade, it would have Izuku having the ability to fuse his 7 quirks together simultaneously. Such as, wrapping Blackwhip around Smokescreen and propelling it with Gearshift. Creating a permanent, seamless state of mastery.

2. Gearshift - Deku’s Gearshift quirk allows him to change the speed and status of anything he touches, including himself which we saw in his fight against Shigaraki in the final war. But the upgrade would allow Deku to slow an enemy’s velocity to absolute zero, either locking them in space or accelerating them into a blinding blur. He can also alter the speed of internal processes, like slowing down his own metabolism to heal quicker.

3. Fa Jin - Fa Jin allows Deku to store and build up kinetic energy through repetitive movement. But the upgraded version, Deku builds up kinetic energy through each step he makes and every hit he takes, holding in an infinite reservoir of 100% power ready to release at will. He would also be able to generate red flaming waves and red fireballs made out of kinetic energy to launch at his enemies.

4. Danger Sense - Danger Sense is sort of like Spider-Man’s Spider Sense. It allows Deku to know what danger is coming by sending a sharp stabbing pain in his head instead of a tingle. There’s a catch though, it would only go off if the person attacking is an actual threat. The upgraded version of this however, would still keep the sharp stabbing pain but it would also project a tactical map inside of Deku’s mind, allowing him to see his opponent’s future attacks before they land them. It would also show the enemy’s attack path and their weak spots as well.

5. Blackwhip - Blackwhip allows Deku to generate black energy tendrils from his body to save multiple people, grapple onto surfaces or swing through the air. The upgraded version does that but it also allows Deku to split Blackwhip into microscopic fibers. When it lands on an enemy, they can send a mild electric pulse to shut down muscle movement or latch onto enemy attacks and make them grow stronger. Deku can also send electric shockwaves through Blackwhip to taze his enemies, create a layer of hardened Blackwhip to makeshift shield to block incoming blasts,bullets or sharpnel & create an umbrella-like structure to slow his fall or glide across gaps.

6. Smokescreen - This quirk allows Deku to… create a purple smokescreen. Yyyyyeah, I honestly definitely needed to upgrade this quirk. So my take on its upgrade is that Deku will create a purple smokescreen that blocks an enemy’s senses, leaving them blind and helpless in a dark,purple,misty void.

& 7. Float - Float allows Deku to levitate in the air and with Fa Jin and some controlled finger flicks, he can fly. But the upgraded version allows Deku to fly without those two things. He can also make others (including objects) weightless or increase the gravity around his opponents into a hundredhold, forcing them facefirst into the ground crushing under pressure.

So yeah, those are my quirk upgrades for Deku! What are yours? Answer in the comments below!
