Just to start, I'm not trying to tell anyone to buy or not buy the game, Im simply posting this to give my thoughts on how to not get fooled by their marketing for the game.

I don't ever get early access and this mainly for people in that same group. If you're deciding on if you want to buy the game, dont base your decision on how the game looks in early access. I would wait until it is released first. The way I look at it is that in previous games EVERYTHING remotely rewarding is behind a paywall. So I wouldn't view how the game looks now as any indication on how it will look when you can access it at the normal price. Instead, view early access as a boosted experience of the game mode you can only access by paying for a more expensive version of the game. They always do this. They make it look better while people are still deciding on if they should buy it and then go back to their normal greedy ways a month or so in.

I wouldn't be surprised if packs odds (which are still terrible) go back down in the next month. Then they'll have the next wave of exchange players be significantly worse. I wouldn't be surprised if we dont get another Paul George level exchange all season 1.

Again, not trying to make anyone who bought early access feel bad. I am just saying dont buy the game for MyTeam expecting it to look like it does now. The best cards will be $300+ like last year, with the occasional "deal" of a $100 busted card.

It was an extremely popular mode that made lower level cards valuable. Why take it away and make it a limited time mode and NOT EVEN HAVE IT AVAILABLE AT LAUNCH

Picked him up for pretty cheap and he is excellent for this time of year. Big 6’5 player model. Great alternative if you don’t want to lock in for Tyler.

I would add Lightning Launch and Seatbelt (free with coach training challenges btw)

I like to switch my defensive assignments depending on who the other person I'm playing is mainly using however in the defensive settings in the menus the option seems to have been completely removed? Has it been hidden somewhere else or are we expeted to do it in the appalling unresponsive LB select system in game?

This year the pack odds are higher. Think market will go up ? Down? Stay the same as it is now? 2K26 was my first year playing so I don’t have reference.

Ps. As a stick shooter only from last year I’m dying over here. Everyone saying they’re button shooting but I just can’t button shoot man.

(May sound dumb) how does this work so I got the grand prize on the 7th nba game yesterday so I just stopped doing them could I have gotten another galaxy opal if I did the wnba aswell the same day? Or is the wnba just a chance of you don’t get prize first board? And the next day(today) it’s the same board on the nba as yesterday so it says 7/30 games do I get a new grand prize if I do the challenges today if I got the prize yesterday and it’s the same board? I‘m thinking of buying nba2k27. I’m a only Myteam player. No career, nothing other than Myteam. I don’t wanna spend money on this game. Is it worth to buy it then? Possible to get a good squad and most of the rewards without spending money for ripping packs?
Or should I keep my hands away from this years game. Played every 2k since 15 except last year.
But I did spend every year money and it’s not worth it. I wanna try this without. So what’s your opinions? Possible without money to have a good team and fun with this game?

Last year they had a space where you can see all of your lifetime challenges and your progress towards them ? For instance 75 3pt unlocks xyz.

This year they only have the daily challenges. Am I missing where ALL the challenges and what they unlock are located?

I randomly unlocked something after playing 25 or so breakout games. I would have loved to know that was a thing to aim for
