Advice Library Laptops
Long story short, the hinge on my laptop snapped and I haven’t had the money to fix it until now. The thing is I have an assignment for cs490 to do during the first week when I assumed I didn’t need a laptop. Should I hold off on fixing my laptop or are the library laptops/desktops good enough to run whatever programs I need? TIA

Theoretically the desktops are powerful enough to do everything you need. The laptops I feel are... not.

There is no project for any CS class at NJIt that requires more than a netbook from 2006 to run it.
It's all basic computation, not a scaling production system.
If you need heavy hardware to do anything, you're doing it wrong.
