ByteBeat Original Rave like it's 1989 ! "Out For the Vy'Kend"

With "David Gekka" and this one now, guess I'm starting a series 👀

It's a kinda ambient track. It started with me going "lol psytrance" with the kick & base, and then I realized I could try to recreate those acid, resonance-sweep sounds that made acid trance in the 90's. Then I tried to create an atmosphere with some long and evolving sounds.

I also took 2 sounds from u/ZhorasSnake's Sound Library vol. 3, "distorted tremolo chords" and "rising pitches". Didn't modify those this time. Thanks again for this amazing library !

This particular device layout aims to make the song "change" depending on where your character is. There's 2 central devices for the main beat/base, and 2 groups of 3 on the sides. If you come by, try it for yourself !

The track is long because some devices are at 15 bpm (the others at 120). So those 8 min are only one iteration of the synchronizer at 15 bpm. There are variations, it's not the same thing 8 times 😅

As a side note, the glyphs here won't take you to the base showed in the vid. I built it in a system belonging to a community that wishes it to stay kind of private. So out of respect I built a minimal base in an uninhabited system, with the same layout so you still get the intended listening experience. Sorry for that, hope you'll understand.

Edit : If you want to grab the track to listen in your playlist, do it with your character sticked to the leftmost device. Otherwise you'll only get half the song (about 4min). This is due to having different bpm settings acrosse the devices.

Edit edit : I copied the original base to the location given in the vid via a save editor ! You can now visit it !
