Frangible ammo?

Need some Frangible 9mm for a handgun class this evening and not too familiar with it. Anyone know where I can pick up some for a decent price?

I have no idea about a decent price, but call wherever you're taking the class and ask if they have some for sale

Xcal and seg both have some for sale

It’s a SEG and they want $45 for a box of 50. Xcal apparently doesn’t sell any.

Lucky gunner has 50rds of Winchester 9mm frangible for 23 bucks Ammoseek might turn up a better deal, but I often default to lucky gunner

Yeah I’m hip on deal hunting. Sadly this is needed today and tomorrow so I’m on a timeline. I did just check myself at Xcal and nada.

I'm pretty sure Xcal only has it available for purchase if you're taking one of their classes. Or competing in their Monday night SteelX event. And it's about the same price as SEG $$$.

90¢/rd locally is not crazy honestly. You might be able to get the price down to like 55¢/rd shipped online shopping around, but if you need it tonight you’ll spend more driving around looking for it than saving enough to matter.

Steel shoot at SEG?

I normally just buy a box or 2 while I'm there.

It's more expensive than regular FMJ. But also I don't need it often enough to buy in bulk to save a couple bucks.

Xcal has frangible. You have to buy it from their rental counter not their normal sales counter. That messed up a bunch of people that I was in class with.

Ah man, I’ll keep that in mind for next time. I ended up picking up 4 boxes at SEG for a whopping $150
