Discussion Key Cards make S2 less exciting
I really want Bravely Deafault, Pragmata, Metaphor… but, at that point, why not just download it?

I never got any newer console or handheld after the Wii/PS3/360/DS/PSP days so as a treat to myself as I have been dealing with some bad mental issues I bought a Switch 2 in April of 2026 and it was the best gaming purchase ever, I can’t believe that I’m finally able to collect and catch up on so many games that I have been wanting to play ever since the OG Switch got announced in 2016 🥹
Also I am European and I have imported some games so that’s why some of my games are European, American and Japanese 😁

Got these two babies at Best Buy. Still sealed and brand new, which is nice. I'll be honest, I bought them because of Splatoon characters.

I've had my Switch 2 for 3 weeks now and these are the games I managed to pick up. Currently staying on the shelf with my small book collection that I am still growing.
I've never owned a console before (apart from the steam deck but that's not really a console). Being able to actually own your games feels really nice after so many years back when PC game disks were being made. (Except for Shadows, that came with the console when I bought it)
The main reason I got it was for Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave, I played three houses on a friend's switch 1 and loved it so much. Already pre orderer it, been trying to get 3H but it's been difficult to find a copy at a reasonable price.
I am also looking into pickup up the Xenoblade Chronicles franchise too.

My as of 9/1/2026 complete ESRB collection. Will definitely try to keep it up to date as much as possible but there’s fortunately/unfortunately too many games coming out this holiday season. Couple of GKC and EU/Asia releases mixed in there as well

Bought a used game the other day and noticed discolored dots on the connector pins. I gave it a light cleaning with 91% isopropyl and took a look under a microscope. The game boots fine.

Just an FYI for anyone thinking of buying this, the game cannot be finished without an update.
You get near the end and one boss just never appears until you download the patch, but in addition to that, the entire game is broken, it runs really slow, and the majority of the enemies won't show up until after you download the patch.
You just fight the same set of enemies from the beginning throughout the entire game. When actually, every new area is supposed to have new enemies.

This took a while to get here. I wonder what else NGDEV will release? I used to own this on the Dreamcast years ago. I can't recall what other titles they did back then though...

I just hate it, if thats the case il skip Blood Rain, im done with greedy companies! I loved the game on PS5 and was ready to pay 70-80 euro for a proper complete edition, but now, i won't and i won't buy anything else, ever, from this company.

A friend told me about Yomawari and the tutorial of the first game instantly hooked me. Looking forward to picking up village in the shade since it's made by the same devs.

Awhile back I got the LRG version of Animal Well and played it past the first ending. However on Switch 2 this cartridge will crash around the second ending.
Has there been a revised cartridge that contains the Switch 2 patch and fixes this issue?
Yes I know I could just download the update and be all good, but where's the fun in that?

It's a recent pickup from VGP.

... until the next time I clear out the never-touched impulse buys, but I've become a lot more selective after the 70-80 mark lol. I'm happy with my collection so far, tho! Currently playing Witch Spring R and slowly picking away at Pokemon Legends ZA on the side.

Love me some Metroid and love Me Some Castlevania...throw in RPG with it and it should be a hella good time. Starting out the next hundred with Dead or School at 600 for me.
STORY
Set 70 years after a war with mutants overran Earth, forcing the remnants of humanity to live underground in Japan's subway systems. The protagonist, Hisako (sometimes translated as Hakaco), grows up hearing stories from her grandmother about life on the surface.
Fascinated by the concept of a "school"—which she envisions as a paradise where children play and learn together—Hisako puts on a school uniform and fights her way to the surface to take back Tokyo.
GAMEPLAY
Players navigate maze-like, 2.5D side-scrolling underground environments. Progression is linear but requires clearing blockades, triggering events, and fighting zombie or mutant hordes to unlock doors.
Hisako simultaneously equips three weapon types that can be cycled through instantly. Swords or axes for close-quarters combat. Machine guns or assault rifles for rapid, low-damage ranged attacks. Rocket or grenade launchers for high-damage explosions.
Firearms have limited ammunition, and melee weapons degrade with use. Reaching a safe point fully replenishes ammo and weapon durability. Attacking, running, and dodging consumes a stamina bar, requiring players to manage their aggression during fast-paced fights. Perfect dodges trigger a slow-motion mechanic.
Killing enemies grants experience points to level up Hisako. This rewards skill points that can be spent across three separate skill trees (one for each weapon type) to unlock new abilities and passive buffs.
Players collect gears and money to upgrade weapons up to level 10. Rare purple modification gears can alter weapon special abilities or attach random perks, altering attributes like life, power, and weight.
Exploring maps yields hidden souvenirs and stranded refugees. Completing side quests for these refugees permanently boosts Hisako’s base stats, including maximum HP and stamina.
CONSENSUS SCORE
65/100 (User Score)
77/100 😏 (User Score)
Look, Dead or School absolutely nails that incredibly addictive, dopamine-hitting progression loop we all crave. The weapon customization is surprisingly deep, letting you min-max your loadout with random stat perks while seamlessly swapping between swords, rifles, and rocket launchers like an absolute badass. If you love a good loot hunt, the campaign is shockingly long and gives you plenty of skill trees and hidden collectibles to scratch that completionist itch.
That being said, the budget constraints are doing a lot of heavy lifting here. The performance on the Switch is rough, serving up choppy animations and frame rate dips that feel straight out of a janky early-2000s port. The pacing also hits a wall with some truly disrespectful difficulty spikes that force you to stop and mindlessly grind for stats, which is made worse by the repetitive, copy-pasted subway maps and some pretty awkward dialogue translations. If you're looking for a pallet cleanser in between Metroidvanias, this one will hold you up.

Was going to make a order and unfortuantely the item availability shifted from 1 piece to wait (wait It Will be shipped One restocked). Can you guys tell me whenever you incurred in a similar situation and whether the game was available at a later time? It s possible to insert in the chart, but then it disappears once on the checkout
I feel so sad.
Thanks

Best Buy shipping is dubious at best. I usually do in-store pickup, now I learned my lesson. It’s just slightly inconvenient to get to after work/during lunch.

Best deal was on Hades and I was lucky to get Oblivion.

Cant find any online neither from Playasia.
Resellers bought all the copies available like crazy? Jeez.
