Lilibet

I personally love this name, it feels very feminine and timeless, however everytime i mention it to anyone they don’t like it and think it’s odd. Let me know your opinion 😊

I think it's adorable. I had no idea about the Queen connection because I don't care about royalty and I'm sure I'm not alone in that, so I wouldn't stress too much over that.

Unless you live in England. Then maybe it's a different story.

You may not care about the royal family, but I guarantee you that everyone your daughter meets will automatically associate her name with the royal family. You do not want that for her. She will feel burdened her entire life.

I think you are vastly overestimating how many people care about the royals. I legit know one person who pays attention and that's only for any petty drama that may arise. It's her Real Housewives of England. Other than that, no one gives a shit and definitely would not know the dead Queen's nickname.

I missed that. So that does make a difference; however, the Queen's dead. People who know the ins and outs of her will also die. It'll probably turn into a "fun fact" type of thing after a bit. Rulers die all the time. Society moves on.
