Lilibet

I personally love this name, it feels very feminine and timeless, however everytime i mention it to anyone they don’t like it and think it’s odd. Let me know your opinion 😊

It's the nickname of the late Queen Elizabeth II as she couldn't pronounce her own name. I'm not sure why you'd want to use it, to be honest.

The most famous 'Lilibet' was Queen Elizabeth. It was her childhood mispronouncation of her name, and her grandfather adopted it as a pet name for her. It became the royal family's special private name for the Queen.

I found it odd that Harry and Meghan used it instead of Elizabeth, but at least it was his grandmother.

Lilibet is objectively cute, yes, but the name is so deeply linked to the private life of the Queen, and I can't get past that. It hits wrong on so many levels. I'm with this poster - I am not sure why you'd want to use it.

I just went on Facebook and searched people named Lilibet… there was a boatload 🤷🏽‍♀️
