I worked with a guy named Chris Evans. Every new person would do the little double take when they heard his name. He'd just sigh and say no not that one.

James Bond. He even apologised for the fact he wasn't a handsome spy but an older gentleman. I told him 'that's exactly what a spy would say' .

I dated a Michael Jordan for a few years. Guy was a tall, kind of scrawny, white hippie type. Turned out to be completely looney tunes, I'm so glad I got away from that relationship. Lol

Not that famous, especially if you're not in the UK but definitely known.

Me growing up. Think JLo. It was so nice to change my name when I got married. The comments of "Is that like the celebrity?" Get old very quick.

Brian Griffin. I went to school with him for years. He had never seen Family Guy before and was very confused
There was also Kevin Bacon. He wasn't famous until he was murdered so technically he is famous now. I never knew him, but I knew people that did

When we bought our house, our Notary's name was Wendy Darling. I couldn't keep my cool and I asked her if it was her birth name or if she married into it, and she said it was her birth name. Then I sensed she was really freaking sick of talking about her name and I shut up about it.

I met a John MacDonald. John A. Macdonald is Canada's first prime minister.
Also this me realize how many already famous people have industry doubles.
Elizabeth Taylor (actress) v Elizabeth Taylor) (writer)
Will Smith (actor) v Will Smith) (producer)
Michelle Williams) (singer) v Michelle Williams) (actress)
David Mitchell) (writer) v David Mitchell) (comedian/writer)
Chris Evans) (actor) v Chris Evans) (presenter)
And of course Michael B. Jordan only has the B. to distinguish himself from Michael Jordan. He's talked about it a lot, including the fact that he was kinda screwed because his dad was ALSO Michael Jordan (non-famous)

Our town has a very short redneck with a Santa beard whoâs name is Micheal Jordan.
Everyone calls him by both names all the time. Heâs not Mike, heâs Micheal Jordan.

I read an article recently about a elderly disabled farmer named Justin Bieber.
In my small rural town, we had a guy named Harry Potter run for office. We also had a prominent local businessman named Steve Martin.

Yes, my mum. She has the same name as a film actress, mostly famous in the 40s-60s. Weirdly she was actually named after her (just her first name) and it just so happened that my dad had the same surname as the actress.

I've met both the famous SĂ©amus Heaney and a local bloke who kept getting free drinks in America because everyone thought he was a Nobel prize winning poet. He said he had to come home to Ireland to prevent himself from becoming an alcoholic. 'In retrospect,' he pointed out wistfully while raising his pint 'I might just be doomed.'Â
Both SĂ©amus's were/are lovely guys, by the way with wicked senses of humour.Â

My high school teacherâs dadâs name is Edward Cullen. This was in 2008-2009, so peak Twilight years. She had no knowledge of the series and was confused by our gasps.
