Admittedly, I rarely play botlane and encounter most enemy supports in the midgame or lategame, but I never was annoyed about a Nami player remotely as much as I was about a Leona focusing all her CC on me, about a Soraka constantly healing the fed carry at the last second, or about a Braum just existing.

This list continues to all supports, and also beyond the support class. I hated almost every champion at least once since I started playing in S2, but I never hated Nami. She is squishy, her stun can be dodged and (unless she builds full AP, lol) she is extremely unlikely to surprisingly outdamage you like a Brand.

At the same time, it's really fun to play her. I feel she is an extremely well designed champion.

...Now: Does this mean she is? Or did I just never played against an OTP Master Nami and therefore never realized her potential to make one's life painful?

Feeling pretty good about my overall performance, Rell was my secondary when I needed a more aggro pick and comps felt right, and Sona was occasional when I was late in draft and there was a very good angle.

Why they haven’t released any new skin for Nami in 2026? I m also maining Seraphine and she got like 3 new skins. I mean I know Nami is getting a skin in wild rift but is she gonna get anything for the main game?

I've been wanting to get a tattoo for years and finally decided to get Nami's and Frieren's staffs

I just came back to league after a few months break and have been trying out some builds to find out what feels right for me after Imperial Mandate was reworked in 16.11, and I can't help but feel like Moonstone second isn't that great? Isn't going Staff of Flowing Water second mathematically better even if your team is full AD?

Assume this rune page is being used:

• Primary: Aery/Manaflow/Transcedance/Scorch
• Secondary: Bone Plating/Revitalize
• Shards: Adaptive/Adaptive/Scaling Health

Going SoFW second gains/loses you the following stats:

• +10 AP (+50 with passive)
• -10 AH (+5 with passive)
• -200 HP
• +10% HSP

Which results in the following for your abilities:

• Passive: +12.5 movement speed
• Q: +25 damage
• W: -17 healing or +25 damage (see below)
• E: +30 damage and +2.5% slow
• R: +30 damage

Her W needs a deeper explanation due to bounce drop off and Echoes of Helia + Moonstone synergy so here are both explanations:

• For W healing, assuming you target an ally, Moonstone heals more by 17, but falls behind SoFW on second heal bounce due to bounce drop off (-8.3% [Moonstone] vs. -0.8% [SoFW]). For W damage, SoFW is always higher due to more AP.
• For EoH healing. assuming you target an ally with your W, Moonstone grants 66 charges on first damage bounce while SoFW grants 79, both healing roughly 90. SoFW actually ends up healing more with EoH since less bounce drop off means more charges.

This is making assumptions on always having SoFW passive up, but considering the buff lasts 6 seconds, it's not too hard to have it up almost permanently during a teamfight.

I kinda wanted to make this post for a couple reasons. One, the mythic variant will come back to the sanctum probably in the next 6-9 months so you should know everything about it to decide if it's worth it for you. And two, I don't like how everybody talks about it. Nobody mentions what's important, everyone calls it a recolor of Coven. And that could not be further from the truth.

Look at both splasharts and in game models and you will clearly see that Coven Nami is heavily referencing both Ursula and Octopus' in general. Now look at Sunken Shadows. She's not an octopus - they didn't just recolor a water themed skin with another water themed skin. She's not even modeled after an octopus anymore. Jellyfish have what's called a bell, also called the umbrella of the jellyfish. It's the beautiful transcluscent dome-shaped part that can look almost like a flowing, transparent dress.

Sunken Shadows nami is a Kraken/Deepsea Jellyfish inspired skin. She's not an octopus and it's not a recolor. Her normally stiff and metal looking dress turns into this beautiful dual purpose dress/anatomically correct body part.

Lastly if you haven't seen the homeguard please take a look. It's simply the most beautiful homeguard in the entire game and that's including all exalted and transcended skins. She rides a fucking ghostly pirate ship, and it has ghost pirate music that plays the ENTIRE time. It's using the same tech as the Star Guardian skins with their homeguard music, and letting her remain stationary on this huge ship while sitting in base or running up to fountain.

It is the best mythic skin in the sanctum and I truly think that if any one is worth it, it's her. I just had to make this post because I saw ANOTHER person say that she's just a recolor of Coven. She is not a recolor, she's a different species xD

I was a pretty big nami player at the beginning of the year and mostly played Janna lately because I find her pretty much broken and extremly rewarding to play.

The thing is I left Nami for about 3 months and since then they changed mandate which was nami's core item. Got to say I'm pretty lost with which buildpath I should choose in my games so what have you been running lately ?

I have a 50% WR in SoloQ and gain/lose 20 LP. On Nami, I have a 60% WR. She is my main with Seraphine as 2nd pick and I play other enchanters as needed. What are some things I could be doing to improve or looking out for?
