Tell me how it isn't genocidal speech.

Fear-mongering IS their platform.

3

u/jcrreddit 11h ago

Yeah. That wrote the book.

1

u/Itstaylor02 8h ago

The GOP should be wiped from existence

24

u/Fun-Aside3990 11h ago

The genocide language gets clearer and clearer.

32

u/ThePopDaddy 10h ago

How about high food and gas prices? Wil they "end"? Because all I'm hearing from the right is "trans people bad" when it comes to policies.

11

u/Master-Monk-8690 7h ago

That's all they have. All they have is scapegoating and culture war wedge issues. Their policies are very unpopular and they know it.

7

u/P4us1ngD34th 6h ago edited 4h ago

They’re just trying to distract you while they steal tens of billions of dollars. Or waste tens of billions of dollars fighting illegal wars in the Middle East. When this is all set and done, we are not going to have appropriate amounts of munitions. We’re not gonna have money to pay the military. The Republicans and Hegseth have put us in an extremely vulnerable position. They’ve alienated our allies and we are ripe for being attacked.

If you look at what we do when we de-stabilize a country. we cause economic turmoil, and destruction. We alienate that country from its allies. We mess with the food supply, water supply, gas supply. Tell me that’s not exactly what Donald Trump and the Republicans have done to the U.S.

2

u/Master-Monk-8690 3h ago

Everything Trump has done makes complete sense if you look at him like he is a Russian agent sent to destroy America.

1

u/P4us1ngD34th 3h ago

I’ve been saying this for the last 18 months.

u/Old_Timer_Unleashed 9h ago

How in the hell did this maniac become the president of the United States? This idiot is going to destroy us all.

u/ZootSuitRiot33801 8h ago

The disintegration of US democracy has been many years in the making, from laws targeting minorities to the elimination of classes to better understand how the system works, from gerrymandering to dark money. Throw in a pay-to-play model to enter the field of politics that largely only millionaires can access and, hey, why not a few assassinations here and there of those who attempt to buck the corrupt elements within the system while we're at it. Add a bit of the ol' demonization of experts and intellectuals for good measure.

In addition, there's been a string of self-sabotage by establishment Democrats within their own party. Then, rather blaming themselves for listening to the consultants instead of their constituents, they instead blame the voters and non-voters, which people will do since it's easier to blame ourselves than it is to admit that non-voters and uneducated voters in this country didn't just happen overnight due to how the system operates. Even then, since the 2024 election, there have been reports coming out about electoral interference, (Elon's involvement with voting machines, ghost counties, etc...) so there's a chance these people aren't entirely at fault for the loss.

Of course that is just when talking about US democracy in general, while ignoring others things like the existence of the Electoral College since the earliest days of our nation. In fact, back in 2014, Princeton and Northwestern University released a study that found that our system is not a democracy but an oligarchy: https://archive.org/details/gilens_and_page_2014_-testing_theories_of_american_politics.doc

As of now, it has been more than a decade since the release of that study. Has the wealthy of the US lost power or gained more? Do they follow the laws like the common folk? You can't vote out oligarchs. They didn't go away when the Democrats controlled the government, and they sure as hell aren't going to go away with who's in charge now. It is not a bug in the system, but a feature.

If we're going to achieve anything meaningful, we can depend on the system to rein in its masters and sycophants. It's going to be up to us and, rather than betting the whole farm on an election, we should also focus on forming real supportive community-based foundations for alternatives that can provide relative safety, which many common folk in the US can fall back on, to commit to any long-term meaningful action needed.

Collecting a bunch of valuable information on organizing and action from different redditors over time, I created a post of suggestions HERE that could possibly prove to be of some help in getting it started ASAP.

If you don’t live in the US, yet you know others who are and want to do something, please share the information. We're going to need as many on board and informed as possible, if we commoners hope to achieve anything in the US

People voted for him or were just too lazy to vote against him, that's why!

2

u/Double_Obligation564 6h ago

2/3rds of the country are literal assholes.

it’s a disgusting society made up of the worst humans on earth.

1

u/MarzipanThick1765 7h ago

I feel like it is too late.

-11

u/ButterscotchAward 8h ago

Hillary Clinton and her team pushed the media to focus on him so that he’d get the Republican nomination so she’d have an easy win and then she treated the election like it was a coronation.

Then Biden won because of Covid and decided he wasn’t going to step aside once the last election started getting close and showed the world he was a sentient potato in the debates. By that time it was too late for a primary so the DNC ran a woman who was incredibly unpopular that got the VP slot because she was a woman (Biden said this live on TV) so we got him a second time.

The hubris of 2 people basically destroyed the country.

3

u/Melodic_Crow_3409 7h ago

Don't forget to add the hubris of RBG not retiring during Obama's first term. She was an incredibly arrogant woman and I welcome all the downvotes I get, because it is true.

9

u/Large-Produce5682 8h ago

So... it's the Dems, with no responsibility of the racist, misogynistic, xenophobic, selfish, gullible electorate and a complicit media. Coolsies.

5

u/Phuddy 7h ago

Also no mention of Russia’s long game of social media and intelligence tampering from various paid agents, nor Elon Musks very obvious election interference in the swing states.

-2

u/ButterscotchAward 7h ago

Russian troll farms on Facebook didn’t lose Clinton the election and if you’re implying the election was rigged, congrats, you’re no different than maga.

3

u/No-Relation5965 7h ago edited 7h ago

Make a bet? I never had a Facebook account because I had no interest and I would rather forget high school and college.

But I told my 69 year-old mom to get a Facebook account. I said “it will be fun for you to connect with old friends”! Next thing I know she is full-on MAGA with a statue of Trump in her living room, going to pro-life marches in DC and to conferences for charismatics.

0

u/ButterscotchAward 4h ago

That doesn’t imply Russia. Just that her friends were pro Trump.

2

u/No-Relation5965 2h ago

There’s plenty of evidence of Russia’s interference using psyops. Anyway, this short video is a good overview of how the GOP cheats in elections. And they’re at it again with the USPS saying they’ll refuse to deliver ballots in certain states (among the GOP’s other attempts to interfere with midterm elections).

https://youtu.be/1u7gnVxl_QA?is=pCiAemK77k9wYmXC

2

u/Variable_Hero 6h ago

Actually, I think there’s a big difference between claiming that a fair/valid election was rigged and claiming that a rigged election was, in fact, rigged. Obviously, the tricky part is knowing which is which.

For example, MAGA claimed (and still claims) that the 2020 election was rigged, but investigation after investigation found no evidence of wide scale voter fraud.

For the 2024 election, there were enough suspicious comments from Donald and Elon and enough statistical irregularities in the swing state voting patterns to at least warrant valid curiosity of whether any rigging occurred.

However, either from not wanting to appear “no different than MAGA” or from actual corruption on their side as well, Democrats didn’t call for any investigations or recounts in swing states at all.

Implying that where there’s smoke, there’s fire with nothing official proving or disproving that point is vastly different than disregarding actual evidence to the contrary to continue a false claim. And not investigating suspicious behavior because you don’t want to appear to be making the same false accusations as the cheaters just lets the cheaters win unopposed.

2

u/No-Relation5965 2h ago

A short video of how the GOP cheats in elections for anyone interested:

1

u/Jay5001 8h ago

If doctors mismanage someone's cancer treatment, theyre still a large contributor to the patients death dispite the cancer being the official cause of death

0

u/ButterscotchAward 7h ago

Oh I will never blame voters. Ironically those of you that do also constantly say “you have 2 choices so you need to pick the best option!” The people who chose dipshit Trump feel the same and did that in their opinion. He never would’ve even been the nominee to begin with and never would’ve held office had it not been for the asinine blunders of Clinton and then Biden.

3

u/Large-Produce5682 7h ago

Help me understand — if of the two candidates, one promises universal Healthcare, raising the minimum wage and assistance for first time home buyers and the other is a sentient beanbag chair... although you only have two choices, so you need to pick the best option and they choose the sack with tiny balls--the fault lies in whosits and whatsits?

1

u/ButterscotchAward 4h ago

All this shows is that you can’t put yourself in the shoes of people you disagree with. To them Harris was going to bring us communism and sell us to China and Trump was going to save us from that. Not true at all, but that’s what they believe and it’s very easy to see that because they talk about that shit to whoever will listen.

1

u/Large-Produce5682 4h ago

Okay, that aside. Help me understand how it's not the responsibility of the electorate who placed the beanbag chair in the seat of the highest office of the land... twice.

I'm not extraordinarily, exceptionally, extremely or even smart atoll... but I knew enough not to vote for a carnival barker/criminal conman who rode into town with a wagon full of snake oil pulled by a broken down mule suffering from lordosis.

3

u/FarHat135 8h ago

What a load of nonsense lol

-3

u/ButterscotchAward 7h ago

The only reason he was the Republican option is because of Clinton. The only reason he won again was because of Biden.

1

u/Otherwise_Carob_4057 2h ago

It’s because he accepted foreign aid to win the election in 2016 and then used voter fraud and suppression to win again in 24’

2

u/4x4ord 7h ago

MAGA bots like this one are so stupid.

0

u/ButterscotchAward 7h ago

I guarantee I’m to your left there, BlueAnon

6

u/Bearwhale 6h ago

That's funny because I scrolled through your comments and ALL of them are whining about Democrats. So I seriously doubt that.

1

u/ForTehLawlz1337 4h ago

Oh no, that’s what the far left does actually so it checks out. They don’t do anything useful. They just wag their fingers at democrats all day and take the moral high ground while doing nothing to help democrats win elections.

The far left hates establishment democrats more than the center right does. They are insufferable and naive.

1

u/walkman312 5h ago

You forgot the part where millions of people voted for him because of his ideology. The country is more divided than you’re giving it credit for.

I’m not sure Hilary wins even if her strategy is better, and I don’t think Kamala wins even if Biden bows out a year early.

1

u/ozzalot 5h ago

It took a lot of homegrown stupidity to get where we are as well, Clinton and Biden aren't gods.

0

u/ButterscotchAward 4h ago

Sure but if not for them being in that exact place and time and screwing up huge, we’re not where we are now.

1

u/ForTehLawlz1337 4h ago

Blaming Clinton and Biden for Trump being our president is the most Reddit style nonsense.

0

u/DrTchk 5h ago

You's voted for him. Twice.

32

u/suprisecameo 9h ago

Trump is scrabbling for any political footing he can find to galvanized his base.

Unfortunately, worries about the spread of "woke" ideology and transgender "infection" seem like an idle luxury when you're trying to find enough money to fill up your car or buy groceries.

Reality has a way of forcing your focus on to real challenges and not culture war propaganda.

10

u/Medical_Original6290 7h ago

The Republicans run on scapegoats instead of actually governing.

As long as they point to a group the redhats can hate, they don't have to actually have any policies besides stealing your tax dollars and pocketing them.

4

u/atreeismissing 4h ago

It worked in 2024, there's no reason to think it won't work again. The only issue is will moderates who went for Trump because they felt the economy was worse than it was and felt scared of immigrants due to right-wing messaging in the media, fall for it again, even those this time Trump is in charge.

1

u/refusemouth 3h ago

It's definitely a big part of their propaganda strategy to pump up the trans panic bs. I monitor the daily nonsense on talk radio, and every time there is a Republican scandal to distract from or an important election they need to win, they pull out trans atheletes or nonexistent gender affirming surgeries for kids. It apparently works on a large segment of their listening base. Especially the sports thing. I guess it has inadvertantly raised the interest in women's sports, which theu didn't seem to pay any attention to before a few transgender women started getting press for participating, but it's mostly a fake interest. Right-wing radio listeners just like being angry all the time while they stockpile guns, ammo, emergency food rations, gold, and testosterone supplements. The advertising on their channels tells its own story about the listening demographic.

2

u/TDot-26 6h ago

"It's the economy, stupid"

28

u/tcat1961 9h ago

I wonder how Caytlin Jenner feels about this?

23

u/Kaarl_Mills 8h ago

Who cares? They're a collaborator

5

u/Alarmed_Pie_5033 8h ago

What do you mean? She's not transgender. /s

3

u/canwehavepotatojokes 8h ago

She’s just LARPING

-4

u/sandersosa 7h ago

He’s just larping. Fixed. As far as his values are concerned, Bruce is still a man.

11

u/kravisha 6h ago

I get what you're going for here but I don't think it's great to pick and choose whose transitions we respect and don't respect

5

u/tnakd 6h ago

Otherwise, we'd be like them. But maaaan I'm tired of taking the high road with them.

1

u/Healthy_Cancel_2604 6h ago

Oh we very much do get to pick and choose especially when that side would eliminate all trans people if they knew they could get away with it. Kaitlin Jenner is malicious in their intent so no I will never respect them nor their transition.

By the republicans own logic she needs to go to conversion camp and get straightened out and back to being Bruce.

1

u/Consistent_Claim5217 4h ago

Good to know my identity is only valid amongst my supposed allies as long as our politics align

1

u/Dashing_McHandsome 6h ago

Just doing the normal Republican thing of pulling up the ladder behind themselves

1

u/Consistent_Claim5217 4h ago

As a trans person who can't stand Caitlin Jenner, you can eat shit for saying this

1

u/canwehavepotatojokes 4h ago

Can’t agree with that one.

Also, won’t.

1

u/livinginfutureworld 21m ago

Her passport says he now. She was very upset and thought about phoning her good friend Donald Trump (presumably to ask for an exception only for herself).

5

u/ipokesnails 7h ago

Transitioning and then running as a Republican was a wild choice.

https://giphy.com/gifs/RfzumVHe1WuIw

6

u/skull-dog 7h ago

Grindr lights up like a neon sign during republic get togethers. They're just so deeply in denial about themselves they'll hide it until they swear no one else is looking

2

u/Healthy_Cancel_2604 6h ago

There's more self hating gay/bi/pan people in the republican party than people realize. I love that grindr puts them all on blast at every conference. If they are actively hostile then the only response in my book is actively calling them out constantly.

1

u/Rob71322 6h ago

Caytlin Jenner is so 50 years ago.

1

u/adamusa51 1h ago

I don’t wish harm on people and I don’t on Caytlin either. But f her. What an ahole

20

u/NotQuiteLoona 15h ago

And if GOP won't, Trump will end. What's better to end, a child rapist or people with medical condition that has proper and well-known treatment?

5

u/LucasIemini 10h ago

You have too much faith in the system

23

u/Independent_End_6941 12h ago

So, what he's saying is that Trump has the final solution to the trans issue. I'm sure reich wing voters will be excited

10

u/space_cow_girl 11h ago

They have plans to use those concentration camps with giant incinerators, and they are bad. Very bad.

18

u/Affectionate-Act1574 11h ago

“Sir, we’re losing the midterms.”

“Scapegoat the transgenders!”

“But sir, we did that already. Won’t the people realize…”

“Did I stutter?!?”

16

u/neddiddley 10h ago

We have now reached the “let’s throw as much stuff at the wall as possible until something sticks” phase of the midterms run up.

Some true to the original and some with new twists.

1

u/ThePopDaddy 10h ago

They've ramped it up from "Men in ladies restrooms" to "GROWN Men in LITTLE GIRL restrooms".

3

u/neddiddley 10h ago

The trans thing is just a natural progression because it got some traction before.

I personally like the “You’re a big stupid moron if you don’t want data centers in your backyard and if we lose the data centers/AI race, it’s all your fault.”

14

u/Mikebones1184 10h ago

So he is calling for the extermination of transgender. Yep. He is Hitler.

16

u/Ok-Syllabub-8087 10h ago

So a threat against Americans by the president..again...

16

u/Itstaylor02 9h ago

This is saying he’s going to exterminate a whole group of people. Where have I heard that before?

16

u/PaladinHan 9h ago

That’s a threat of genocide, for those keeping track of where we are on the fascism scale.

-3

u/WBALtv11news 9h ago edited 8h ago

No it’s a promise for his base

(I am NOT on team genocide here not sure where that confusion came from)

6

u/PaladinHan 9h ago

It’s a threat of genocide.

0

u/WBALtv11news 8h ago

I would like to point out it’s both and I just think promising to commit genocide is worse. And the fact that some people may go and vote because he made this promise revolting

15

u/EarOk1770 10h ago

That sounds like a threat to transgender people.
Remember how the orange pants pooper cried about 8647 being a threat?

15

u/cloacasmell 10h ago

yeah he's just gonna kill us straight up now

17

u/bumblingbeardedfool 9h ago

The cruelty is the point, I swear

13

u/Quiet_Standard8856 9h ago

There's approx 1% of the population of the US are trans. Whereas over 90% of the population are affected by high gas prices, high food prices, disease, rotten food and high inflation.

But yeah that 1% is the important bit.

Fkn idiot

3

u/Raise_A_Thoth 7h ago

There are people who still really care about this issue, but they are a fairly small minority.

It's also similar to abortion, where a majority are fine with the political stance of "I don't really care what other people do, it's not for the government to force anything" but then some get more uncomfortable with certain hypotheticals as a pregnancy advances. With trans people, most don't care too much, until they hear about bathrooms or sports, and then the stances fracture more into various emotional reactions.

Ultimately this will be a losing issue to focus on when it comes to scapegoating trans people, and in this cycle, with Trump and Repubes in power, scapegoating will go much more poorly when they have gas prices and the teetering economy and the Epstein Files still not taken care of.

10

u/Pop-Pop68 8h ago

Well gosh. He hit upon the one thing that will solve everything. That should lower price of groceries, gas, power and rent. Thanks President Doofus!

5

u/Skittleavix 9h ago

Well that's genocide for you.

Is it fascism yet?

3

u/cats_catz_kats_katz 9h ago

Is he announcing the gas chamber phase?

3

u/Federal_Studio5935 9h ago

You're going to "end" a population of people that have existed for all of recorded history? I doubt that.

3

u/PerspiringMinds 8h ago

What's he going to do? Put all trans people in box cars and take them to gas chambers?

2

u/Content_Ad_8952 9h ago

Why are Republicans so obsessed with trans people?

2

u/systemrobotics 9h ago

Notice how they push this gender garbage around the time nearing elections.

2

u/cardiaccat1 8h ago

“Hey I know the economy is terrible and the stock market isn’t rocketing up, and I lied about taxes unless you’re rich and every grocery but eggs are way higher and gas is higher…..but I’ll get rid of transgenders so still vote Republican, because don’t you hate people that aren’t you?”

2

u/Small_Front_3048 8h ago

Trump and GOP gotta have some group to hate and stir up the rubes, right now that's immigrants and Trans people

2

u/Mewiibo 8h ago

He’ll sayanything, anything at all to try and appeal to his base full of the worst, shittiest people you can imagine. What a disgusting thing to say about a group of people

1

u/Zeldove 9h ago

Im almost positive I saw him answered questions a couple weeks after the election and they asked him if he was going to focus on the "trans issue" and he said he was only using that to win the election and he didn't really care. Did anyone else see that???

I’ve never been more unaffected by such a trivial talking point than I have by how much the gop focuses on trans. They act like by removing trans my life is going to exponentially become better. It feels like it’s the last thing the gop has strong support for

What is their problem with trans people? Why must republicans constantly get involved in people’s personal choices regarding their own bodies and healthcare choices? Why?? Get a life republicans and worry about your own bodies and healthcare choices.

1

u/Dilf123Throwaway 4h ago

Let’s all be very, very, very clear. This is all going to come down to election day and how it will possibly be stolen by the Republicans.
To me, and I believe to everyone here. That this should be punishable under treason for aiding and abetting, a coup.

That is for all my congressman who is involved in the slightest. An example must be made or we will never be trusted by any of our past allies.

So the real question we all need to ask is this.
What is the plan to protect our elections? They’re putting out the National Guard in Georgia and I’m sure it’s only for the Democratic cities. They’re screwing around with mail and ballots. They’re trying to get a law pass where a woman’s name must match her birth certificate. And lastly, I will never discount the fact that he will declare a national emergency to hold off the elections. So anybody out there? What is the plan and do the tech Brothers get involved with this as well, any ideas guys?

1

u/Woyzeck17 4h ago

Good thing they won’t.

1

u/thesquidsquidly22 4h ago

Only idiot republicans will think this is even possible.

Another promise he can’t keep, in this case unfortunately. You can’t legislate away how people act or feel. Keep the laws off the books, this is a social issue. More people need to simply let the emperor know he has on no clothes on and call people what they are. No hate, no judgement.

You wanna play pretend as a lady, cool man it doesn’t matter to me.

I’ll play along and be nice because it’s a respectful thing to do unless you push it too far in which case you have to be reminded that this is a social contract and not a ground truth we have agreed to.

u/Classic-Specific3919 2h ago

Genuinely what does this even mean?? This sounds like you fake respect people, smile in their faces and disrespect them behind their back. Have some balls and be authenticq to how you feel. I don’t think generally speaking trans people care not if you accept them but being fake accepting is somehow worse in my opinion.

u/LetsTryLove 2h ago

I am respectful because it’s the appropriate thing to do and costs me nothing. If asked directly if I believe that the guy in a dress is a woman I will tell him no but he doesn’t wanna know and it does no good to tell him. That’s the social contract.

u/Classic-Specific3919 2h ago

Personally I don’t think this as actually respectful in my opinion. But if you’re not going out of your way to offend people then I guess that’s the least anyone can be expected to do. But I more so meant what does the last part mean by going too far??

Only because the right is so dumb they'll vote passionately about an issue that effects less than 1% of the population and continue voting against their own interest because of it

I mean I remember being uncomfortable with the idea of dressing out as a kid in a locker room with people with the same genitals, and then finding out that no one in the locker room is really there to look at genitals, and if they are then it became something that was addressed pretty quickly.

You generally don't have someone that's just gonna be allowed to be a creep suddenly because of this. Do you spend time in locker rooms looking at genitals?

No rape was mentioned there, and trans women in men's facilities are not just raped once. They are raped repeatedly, constantly.

Search up what's V-Coding is. If you are a normal person with actual ethics and morals, you will feel horrified. But, I doubt you'll feel anything but glee at the prospect of transgender people being tortured just for being transgender.

N.J. trans prisoner who impregnated 2 inmates transferred to men's facility

Were they raped?

1

u/South-Rabbit-4064 12h ago

As someone else stated were those prisoners raped?

There's always gonna be issues with locker rooms or facilities even with the same biological genitals.

I've got two daughters as I've said and have thought a lot about all of this, and while I don't really see locker rooms or bathrooms as an issue have even thought about it from a competitive aspect, and if either of my girls would cry and give up the moment they face a little bit of competitive edge in any sport then I'm not sure their heart was really in it to begin with. I mean what's next, are we gonna institute a height restriction on basketball because tall people have genetic advantage? What about people born with larger lung capacity? That's also a competitive edge in a lot of sports.

Do you see anything wrong with someone with male genitals walking around naked in a locker room full of women because that person identifies as female?

Hello I am a trans woman and yes, yes I do see something wrong with it. What is wrong is that you assume we are like you.

No, unlike you, we don't like showing off what we have down there. On the opposite, we'd rather keep it entirely hidden and invisible.

I don't know how you Americans have it, but here in Europe we have this advanced technology called stalls. I go to the female changing room, enter a stall, put on my swimwear, a swimming skirt for better coverage and exit the stall. No problems, no stares, no discomforts, nothing. All women there just minding their own business as if I was any other random woman.

What is curious is that, when my presence in the women's changing room causes zero problem, you advocate for me to prance around the men's room in a bikini, as if that would not be seen as weird, or even dangerous for me. Or maybe because it's dangerous and you want violence upon people like me.

Ah yes, the issue of our time that effects virtually no one other than the conservative freaks that fantasize about this type of scenario.

Can we worry about things that actually happen and leave the less than .1% of the population that this actually concerns out of the conservative trans fantasy.

I have never walked around naked in any locker room and I don't recall ever seeing a naked person in any school locker room either. Do people really do that? Most people I know wear underwear.

"Prioritizing"? Now turns out mildly acknowledging is the same as "priotitizing" 🙄

Well, a comment where they talked about making changes gradually and educating people first was deleted when I wrote all of this so I will paste it here:

To educate people, we need to be able to be visible wihtout being persecuted for it. Also, the people need to be willing to be educated.

"Love is love" is easy to understand. Most people know what love is, what is heartbreak, how they feel like.

But most people don't know how it feels when your very sense of identity is denied. You just take it for granted because it never felt wrong.

We can't summarize in a single slogan all about what is gender in a psychosociological sense and how is identity and personhood formed in the individual.

To understand gay people all you need is an open mind. To understand trans people, you actually need to put effort on thinking. There are plenty of resources to be educated, but we can't think for you.

The choice now is entirely yours: remain ignorant and let cruelty go on, or put the effort on learning and try to stop that cruelty. Wathever you choose, you will not be rewarded nor hurt. Unless you have a conscience.

Ah yes, allowing fascists to pick off the most marginalized groups has never led to anything bad in history. It's almost like the Left reads or something.

You sound like a Nazi. Probably a reason for that.

Ask the MAGAs, we are just trying to defend ourselves and survive. If they left us alone, we could have time for other things.

Gosh darn it to heck, MAGAs think more about trans people than even we trans people do.

3

u/rasta-ragamuffin 11h ago

The left is not focused on trans issues. I haven't heard a single Democrat candidate talk about it once in several years unless specifically asked a question about it usually by a far right journalist or politician. It is the right that keeps harping on this old tired subject (because they have no good policy proposals to discuss instead). This is just another issue used to distract and divide ignorant voters. Remember there are less than 1% trans people in the general population so they are incredibly rare, and they are usually the victims of crime, not the perpetrators. No one cares what gender you are or choose to be. Your gender does not impact my life in any way, shape, or form. Anyone who cares about someone else's gender should get their own head checked because those are the people with serious psychological problems.

4

u/Effective_Pack8265 11h ago

Simply acknowledging that they exist is apparently too much for MAGA.

Finally my daughter will be able to play in sports again.

19

u/Ramzaki 11h ago

If you are not letting her play sports because of your bigotry, is not trans people who are hurting her.

15

u/South-Rabbit-4064 13h ago

This has to be sarcasm or trolling. I've got two daughters and have never experienced anything because it's like .5% of the population. And don't think I'd particularly think anything would change if they did.
