Collection Question….

I copped these from Ebay. The topsides are great,no complaints. However, the bottoms are ok?? They’ve been worn, I understand. Would you keep them??

If you bought them as new then I’d return them, if you bought them as previously owned then I’d keep them

I’m curious what you expected knowing they were used you when you bought them. These are in Amazing condition. Not sure why you would want to return if you buy a new pair they will look like that after 5 minutes

I knew they were used from the jump. I was thinking I could clean up the bottoms a little better, even if they're translucent. You are right about buying new. More money, same outcome.

You could scrub them down really good and they’ll look brand new. If there’s any surface yellowing, throw some sole sauce on them, cover in cling film and throw them out in the sun for a few hours and it’ll be gone. These are worn so lightly I’d be shocked if it took more than an hour to get it out

These outsoles are semi translucent and impossible to clean lol I have a pair of buttercup I wore twice and the outsole looks terrible and I've scrubbed them

Damn. I super scrubbed these last night; only a little improvement. It's a dope shoe, but the shoe bottom discoloration is throwing me off.

Bar something like a steam cleaner, your not going to get beyond what youve cleaned right now
Same with any translucent soles

Icy bottoms do this with ANY wear. These look worn maybe a handful of times and in great condition. Theres no returning them to factory clarity, but you could clean and blast them in a light box.

Here's mine and I have only worn them maybe 3 times since release.

I’ve been in this exact position with eBay. If you bought them new absolutely start a return. It will probably auto decline. You will have to appeal it. It’s just the way the system works when a seller doesn’t accept returns. You’ll have to take them a series of pictures as well. It’ll be a couple day process.

For me it was the Maui Wauis. Same issue. Still had pebbles stuck in the soles!

I bought them used, thinking I could put some work-in on the outsoles. I can't return them; I might flip them back and get some of my bread back.

Was really hoping you’d say 11.5.

If you’re gonna get rid of them, I might be interested. I’m a 12. Shoot me a DM

A DS brand new pair will damn near have you thinking they've been worn, that is the the hard truth of translucent/icy soles. Your pair is super clean

Unless you plan to show off the bottom of the shoe I wouldn't stress it. These are dope and a great pick up imo.

True. I appreciate everyone's feedback. I'll put them in the rotation.

These are used I wouldn’t trip off that. They are gonna look like that if you wear them out on the street.

If you bought them brand new return them. I think you got a good price and there was no authenticity guarantee

You either paid cheap or they didn’t go through authentication guarantee. If bought as used you can’t send them back.

I paid $280 shipped.

I would send them back if they were supposed to be new.

They’re used bro. There’s no sending them back.

Price ain’t too bad if they’re hardly used. Clean the soles every so often n they won’t go pure dark, I do it with my Mummy’s

All depends on if they were supposed to be new or not.
