Help! (Question/Support) Bottom Screen Fixable ?

Aloha,

I bought yesterday a Nintendo DS Lite , today i turned it on and the Bottom screen doesnt work properly. The screen got a round frame.

Is this fixable ?

You have to play pictochat to fix it. Draw in black an entire page 4 times then scribble an offering tribute message to shiggy inverted in white on the black with the eraser tool, then turn the power off and on 3 times with Scribblenauts half inserted into the cart slot, then quickly hot swap it to the dc version and start the game. Or replace it. Probably easier to replace it.

Do you have a recommendation for a replace screen ? Most on amazon got only a 3* rating

No sorry, I just wanted to make a joke comment, you could try your luck on aliexpress? Lots of cheap electronic parts on there, varying degrees of quality though. Might have to buy a few different ones to see what's good

All good, it was funny tbh maybe i should pure a bit of my blood as tribute too ? Hahaha

Guess i will ask google which ones are good or i go and ask a shop nearby to change it 🤔

If by fixable you mean can you replace the screen then yes. Lower screen is a fairly easy job. Get a new digitizer while you’re at it. Replacing the screen is the only fix.

I haven’t tried Amazon ones. I usually get mine from eBay.

Puedes comprar alguna pieza en Aliexpress. Solamente es de verificar las opiniones de las ventas al igual como la reputación del vendedor. Yo he comprado la mayor parte de pantallas en Aliexpress de mis consolas portátiles y me han funcionado sin ningún problema. Lo que tengo entendido que las pienzas que venden en Amazon son de proveedores desde china así que no hay gran diferencia al menos que compres una pantalla que sea donada de otra nintendo DS.

I don't see the issue, this is what heaven looks like.

Jk lol, it's easily fixable. Replace it + digitizer and it'll be good to go :)
