Throttle controller

Just installed the roar pedal on my nismo and have to say it’s the single best cost effective mod u can do. Night n day difference. Car really comes alive with unbelievable strong pulls. U will not regret it!

All they do is adjust throttle response though? You just don't need to press the gas pedal in as much to get your desired throttle. Not worth $100s of dollars for 0 extra power IMO.

Also not a big fan of a middleman interfering with accurate data getting sent to the PCM, seen stuff on other cars of people getting codes thrown or going into limp mode after using it on high sensitivity then dropping it down or uninstalling. Any short or voltage issue with it can cause the same limp mode issues too.

I’ve seen countless issues with these kinds of devices. SonicTuned has me on a watered down basemap to start as he dials everything in and the throttle feels amazing on my 25 M/T Z.

It made my down shifts so much more consistent as the oem throttle feels super soft and has a dead area at the beginning of its travel.

Get a real tune is my suggestion or stay stock don’t mess around with these middleman devices similar to the JB4

They do nothing, get a tune

Yes tunes are great if you’re looking for more power. I’m happy with the 420hp just wanted better acceleration and that’s exactly what I got with the controller. Maybe after my warranty is up I’d consider a tune.

You reminded me that I have one of these .. I originally got it for my q50 and took it out before i traded for the z. The Z's response is so much better then the q but I may have to give it a try. On the q it definitely felt better, power came in much faster. I noticed a lot of people on these feeds don't like plug in mods like this but never read any actual issues, just I heard. My I know is better then their I heard. 170k miles 7 years on my last vr30 here's to another 200k on the z.

Yes seems to be a lot of people that are indifferent about them and conflicted. I will tell u first hand on the z it’s a significant improvement with acceleration and much more fun to drive. 150.00 and a 20 min install I have no complaints.

I have to respectfully disagree. Will only throw codes if done incorrectly. Had it on my last 3 cars. For 150.00 it is well worth it to me. Gives u instant throttle response with zero lag and no dead spots. Much more fun driving experience in my opinion.
