Must've had warrants.

"I'm going away for a long time... fuck it! Time to spend my last seconds of freedom the way I want!"

Just to clarify for you. You're thinking of must've. It's short for must have. Must of is incorrect.

Cops are terrible at boxing in this car.

24

u/phinz 1d ago

But the driver was excellent at hotboxing that joint.

6

u/GotSmokeInMyEye 1d ago

Seriously. Just commented the same. Like wtf? Suv was terrible. He was so slow at reacting to the dude behind him. He had a big ole suv and just had to stay in front of the dude but he kept letting him slip by.

u/Late-Bed4240 1d ago

That last toke was priceless!

Doing this with a child in the car should be life in prison

-57

u/h3rp3r 1d ago

You know the cops will never be held responsible for endangering everyone so they could get in an exciting car chase.

23

u/Javad0g 1d ago

Did you try saying that out loud first, or did you just post it?

22

u/DoctorProfPatrick Fuck you I won't do what you tell me 1d ago edited 13h ago

Symptoms of brain rot include spouting rhetoric you've heard from others. In this case, "cops bad".

-19

u/h3rp3r 1d ago

Bootlicking with that flair is a special level of stupid, lol!

8

u/namecannotbeblankk 1d ago

Ooo buzzwords! Nice!

u/stellaxo 19h ago

The police already have his info, so continuing to pursue while there is a child in the car also makes the police irresponsible. I will never understand people who defend the police.

2

u/froction 5h ago

How did they have his info? You're assuming that the driver is the person associated with that car's registration?

-24

u/h3rp3r 1d ago

There is a reason most departments have policies against such reckless behavior.

0

u/giger5 19h ago

You're getting massively downvoted but I agree, that could've ended really nasty, they had the plate number, they should have backed off as soon as they knew there was a child in the car.

3

u/froction 5h ago

They have that car's plate number, they have zero information on the driver's identity.

u/JSaysHi 1d ago

What the fuck

9

u/iDinky__ 1d ago

Nobody said anything about a child in the car until they were already well over 100 mph on the highway after getting pitted at least once. They switched tactics once they realized they had to be more careful. That driver willingly put a child in more danger than they ever should be, all while giving them second hand smoke from what I can only assume is weed. Life in prison might be a touch harsh, but typical sentencing for child endangerment isnt nearly for as long as it needs to be. Especially in situations like this where lethality is a very likely outcome. He cared about nothing but his own record and potential jail time in that moment. It’s absolutely not the first or last time this dude disregarded his family’s wellbeing for his own sake

5

u/Gentry_Draws 1d ago

It should be a attempted murder or whatever that gets you

0

u/Dramatic_Taste_3808 1d ago

Life in prison is a touch harsh? Are you kidding me?

1

u/fattmarrell 16h ago

Rehabilitation really should be the goal, not pure punishment

Also comical, Silver Malibu comes through after that PIT maneuver like "what an inconvenience, I'm on my way to the bank over here, gosh"

1

u/thedjin 4h ago

Pretty sure that's a Ford Taurus, but yeah, very comical bit

6

u/InsertRadnamehere 1d ago

And kept puffing as he was getting cuffed. Wild.

20

u/apexredditor- 1d ago

9

u/duck4129 1d ago

My 5speed Corolla shakes like hell doing 90, no way it would do 115

4

u/Cereal____Killer 1d ago

Man… this takes me back to Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit

6

u/GotSmokeInMyEye 1d ago

Honestly this would have ended so much sooner if the cop in the suv wasn't a shit driver. All he had to do was block him in front and he couldn't even do that right. Good job that they got him without smashing them all up and killing them, but damn that was hard to watch. They need more tactical driving training.

2

u/froction 5h ago

Was anyone else hoping when they pulled him out by his arm they were just going to keep bending that elbow backwards past 180°?

u/ThisThingIsStuck 1d ago

If properly maintained lmao not some pony tail touch butt

-10

u/theBigDaddio 1d ago

All those cops and they barely got this guy who’s driving with the family and smoking a joint. Pathetic

8

u/Ok_Spread_8650 1d ago

Feel free to prove you can do better. Criticizing is easy, getting it done is harder

-10

u/theBigDaddio 1d ago

Boots must taste good to you

2

As expected. All talk no action
