Start with your AA window size imo. That’s a critical setting. There are other options to play around with like AA ease-in as well.

You can use custom game codes like VAXTA or ZHTD8 to practice aiming against bots, but it takes some time to play around with settings to get them where you need them.

I use AA window size of 20% on my Xbox controller so that the area it triggers is much smaller. I feel like the better your aim is by default/more comfortable you are with FPS games, the lower window size you want.

Let me explain something I just discovered today: the secret to "sticky" aim is the left stick deadzone—you need a tiny bit of controller drift to keep rotational aim assist constantly active.

So, set the deadzone to the minimum (0.00), and you'll see that if an enemy stands in front of you without you moving, your crosshair will be drawn toward them.

It’s not an aimbot—you still need some skill—but for certain flying enemies, for example, it’s a game-changer.

You can pair that with very low window size and near 0 aim assist ease in and you got soft aim bot now, let the hackusations roll in

It's outdated if it's more than a year ago (2025 and older). They changed the aim assist sometime before the end of 2025.

Any videos before that refer to the legacy aim assist mode (now old).

I’ll drop my sens. Maybe it’ll work for you maybe not but it works for me (tracer main)

100v
100h

100 aim ease in (99 is also very popular but I personally think it’s too snappy for me)
AA window size 50
AA ease in 75 on all roles

0 outer desdzone on left stick
0.30 inner desdzone on left stick

0.15 outer deadzone on right stick
1.00 inner deadzone on right stick

You can try different AA window sizes. I used to play on 25 window size and 25 AA ease in but after switching to this a few weeks ago I find my aim smoother and easier to track

I also used to play on no deadzone for the right stick until my right stick started twitching around (I would look left and it would go the opposite way most of the times) but I’d rather always have a deadzone now. It helps with heroes like Ashe and Widow

depending on what heroes you play OP tweak the window size and AA ease in. hitscan i dont mind having the window higher and the ease in lower, but for projectile the window size needs to be small and for me the ease in i prefer higher
