I picked the ones closer to the characters' appearance, feel, and their acting ability to embody them. I thought Melissa Barrera for Throné would click better with Freddie Fox's Temenos because she's closer to his range (36) and I can see them playing that sassy, unhinged besties.

I played OT2 first and even normal Galdera wrecked my shit, I didn't use nuts in that game. I haven't touched the arena or the super secret boss there.

I read some guides on Orochi saying that I need to nut my units and use Dohter jams. I fed Reime and Cyrus all my nuts until they got 600 Phys and Elem attack respectively. Guides even said to get the helpers that reduce Fire, Thunder Ice resistances for the boss but I forgot to use the other two.

The battle went something like this:

• Bargello with A Step Ahead used Dance of Sloughs and the fire helper.
• Saoirse used ult on Cyrus
• Pius used his Ult
• Reime and Cyrus ulted for 50k each strike, Cyrus for 25k each
• Protag used Dohter jams while Bargello applied debuffs
• Repeated for 5 turns and it just died

Sultravi and arena Sultravi gave me more trouble because of its mechanic of clearing the party buffs every turn. Cyrus even died on turn 2 because of misplay. I kind of expected something more from the secret boss but anyway, I guess I'm done with the game after 90 hours in.

The story overall is quite good, eventhough it feels like an average shounen manga. There are some emotional and really cool scenes, like Benkei in the first and final chapters, or Rai Mei literally calling down thunder to destroy the bridge. Boss fights were quite easy for me because I was overleveled by 5-10 levels, so I just hit big numbers.

The bad things are... Ritsu and "Hikari". Man, I hate Ritsu so much. He was fun at first with his betrayal and going from a lowborn to a soldier for his family. However, later on, he just became an NPC with so much envy for Hikari. As for "Hikari", I thought the shadow would take control of his body in chapter 3 or 4 to make the shadow plot have more weight and main character's development. Sadly, Hikari easily solved his problem in a single fight without any consequences.!<

Hello, it's m'y first post here

(French player so i'm sory for error of spelling...)

I'm on my second run and I want to made the game more difficult, but i learn the fact that extra battle exist in the middle of that and I donc find any post or vidéo who talk about the battle against True Weide and True Weide the wicked with the New Dawn mod.

So is it possible to defeat it without a mod to unlock the damage cap or anything else ?

I am buying both cause they are on sale and i previously bought OT1 on switch but didn’t finish it just half way

- honestly i don’t care much about thier stories “aside from 1-3 characters” all of them are mostly single focused stories that doesn’t hold up really well and i recently finished FFT and FF6 and those games had worse graphics but i was always engaged

- one of the main reasons i didn’t finish OT1 is the lack of XP sharing making a lot of party members severely under levelled + not enough money to buy best gear + severe difficulty spike in the midgame requires grinding

But now i am way more experienced than before so i might overlook some of those mistakes

- any tips would be helpful

Main was Temenos, so Night makes the most sense during combat, but what do you use day/night for?

I'm a first time octopath player, I recently made it to the final boss and keep getting my ass handed to me. My team is in the 60's and I've been farming in the Forest of Purgation. Is there any other place that's better to grind? I already have what I assume is the best gear.

Only stuff left to do in OT II is Galdera boss fight and the extra battles from home screen.

This might be common knowledge, idk. I’m new here.

But in the Bestower Of Power’s last chapter (where you sail around fighting enemy blockades), every enemy yields a Medium Nut. Each battle has 3 enemies. And with Snatch you can get 2 from each. Got like 80 medium nuts.

im currently doing solo run with cyrus, i have level 27 but i got stuck sooner than expected.. im stuck on gideon, i seriously can’t beat his skeletons and i die in basically two hits, i tried every subclass and i just have no idea how to beat him and just be done with it, anyone here who finished solo run with cyrus who could help me? i would really appreciate it.

For the life of me I can't get Al to appear in Montwise Library. I have completed the traveler's bag side quest when I first started the game and have since beaten the game and did the epilogue but still not there. I have completed the Procuring Peculiar Tomes quest as well and have unlocked the island that leads to the secret boss.

But I'm at a loss why he isn't appearing where he should be.
